RIP Darwyn Cooke

For comic fans everywhere, this one hurts. Though his work on The New Frontier is what defined his career to a generation, I can't think of anything he touched that wasn't gold. Batman, Jonah Hex, The Spirit, Catwoman; the list goes on. So, with all that in mind, I thought this could be a thread where we celebrated the man's work and shared some of our favorites from his career.

One of my favourite artists. I bought some comics just because of the pull of his style. RIP.

Sad to lose such a great talent. Comixology has some of his great DC stuff on sale at the moment. I'd recommend pretty much all of it.

This is just another terrible loss of a great artist in a year of terrible losses of great artists. This year has been just brutal folks. Cooke's "The New Frontier" is one of my all time favorites. I got my Absolute edition of this fantastic story signed by Cooke a few years back. Such a wonderful human being. I just cannot believe he's gone.
