At the time of ordering I went with both. I am a big fan of the Fremen hooded look, but also wanted the rooted version to futz with. We have a real winner here folks. I don't think you could go wrong with either--just gotta get your hands on one for a decent price! I hope someone can do a custom Muadib cloak.

Oh really? I was thinking the Rooted was superior, while it needs some restyling to look perfect, the sculpted comes across quite plasticky looking with it's shine.

Yeah I think that shine maybe lighting but K get that.

The rooted is way to puffy and managed......

His hair was all over the place in that film. Its thinner and not as thick,

I vote for rooted hair because the hair should be messy because he was on the run from the Harkkonnens. The 'pretty" and styled plastic hairstyle does not look right for someone who is trying to survive on Dune. Thus, the rooted hair version represented Paul the best, in the movie

Such an exciting release, each new photo and video is taking this up a level. The fact that every time I will see this figure it'll make me shout out 'Lisan al Gaib!' is just awesome!

Do you think there's a chance they'll make Chani or Dune Two Paul. Would love that but either way I'm super excited for this and glad I preordered the Deluxe it will be my first rooted hair figure.

Chani I would say is unlikely, though maybe if there's more clamoring for her after people start to get Paul in hand. Part Two almost certainly not. The push for that during the movie's release came to naught, and there's just not enough differences to justify going back to the well (if they even had the license).

Recently, there was a rumor where they’ve expressed desire in making more Dune figures, namely Chani.

That's great. Hope so!! Day one preorder from me if they do either or both. Even other characters would be a bonus too! Hopefully the future does hold more Dune figures/characters etc.

Eh. I'm of the mind that there ought to be some Fremen representation. The blue eyes are iconic imagery.

But Paul is defined by his adversaries as much as by how he responds to adversity.

The Lord of Darkness put it best: without darkness there can be no light.

This figure needs a villain to face off against.

I’d much prefer a Feyd or Baron Harkonnen to a Chani or Jessica figure.

No interest in Chani whatsoever. Would love Lady Jessica with the face tattoos and blue eyes. I think that would pop in a display

I think y’all should realize that Chani is the second main… not only that, I don’t think it’d make sense at all if they made Part 2 character designs that don’t even pair with Paul. I doubt INART would even do that.

I agree I prefer Feyd also. Their fight was amazing and I like that Feyd had some admiration for Paul during the fight it's something you catch seeing the fight over. So I definitely think he would pair well with Paul.
