I couldn't find an actual image thread for the Ripley figure, so I figured I'd post this pic of a custom figure I just finished here (there's more pics and some details of what was done in my customs thread in the custom section)

of course posting this pic of my Ripley custom also has the benefit of bumping up Josh's repaint at the top of the page.... never a bad thing!

Sorry to hijack your thread Josh, but Darren, what body did you use? Ripley looks so much better on a taller body...

it was whatever body the Hot Toys Ripley figure came with. I'm not sure how many female bodies HT uses. The one with the rubber torso. I added about a centimetre to the lower legs.

given that I have one of Darrens ripleys in my collection I can easily say that this one is the best ripleys out there, stunning even more so when painted.

Damn. That looks 100% better than the released version. Hot Toys really needs to revisit the Aliens license.
