What's really funny is Narin sculpted a Pred that looks similar the BSP a long time ago.

It was calle The Death Warrior.

ALMAO, lets just aspect the least of this movie, that way you cant get disapointed. To be honest, i think the whole human crew looks like crap against the PREDATOR 1 & 2 cast.
Takes me back to when AVP was released, i realy hated the whole red suited ripley wanna-Biatc#/ Sanaa Lathan, just NOT does the trick...... i just sepperated AVP from the ALIEN movies in my head.
Now enough negativety, we will just have to wait and see whats up with PREDATORS.

definitely. but luckily for you, Rodriguez didn't direct Predators. he's a producer and came up with the story.
and Spy Kids is way cooler than both AVP films. so, i'm looking forward to this one.

As a comic adaptation, that was excellent, but I didn't care much for that movie either.

Basically, the design is not Predator anymore. They made it into a cheesy cheap regular movie monster. At least from those pictures perspective.
I pray it looks better onscreen.

I wouldn't go that far from just a few pictures. I say give it a chance, after the AVP stuff this has to be a lot better and maybe we"ll all be pleasantly suprised and it will turn out to be the 2nd best Pred movie ever made.

Dun mind the Bios i like that look. Unmasked will have to take some getting use to very serpent like though. They also seem kinda stocky in these pictures

For starters, I think that the predators all need a net-suit. , as far i can remember, i always loved the look of the net-suit on the body's of these aliens. such a simpel thing can make a huge difference, and it made sens for the collecting of skulls and bones.
Somehow makes me think about predator one, where does he get that skull box from when he is cleaning that skull up in that tree, is it like a special kind of transformable box, that changes in size, or was the budget to low to show us his Ship?.LOL
I know i know ,it probably put it up there once it came from its ship.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I doubt I will get any merchandise from this movie. I liked scar from AvP2 so I'm not opposed to change but do not like these designs so far. Maybe seeing them in action will change my mind but so far it is not looking good.

Ille bet there is a Clan with less advanced gear (thinking of the bone mask), and a super advanced Clan.
Realy realy hope that the humans are not gonna work together with one of the predator clans somehow, that would be super lame.....

The only thing that I really dislike about the unmasked version is that the head is missing the classic predator "crown" on the sides and top. It looks like an octopus with mandibles to me.

Y'know what it reminds me of? The spider from the end of "It." When I heard RR wanted a "newer, nastier (yeah, right!) breed of Preds", I took it with a grain of salt. I never expected them to take the redesign so freaking far. It looks like cheap garbage you'd expect from the SciFi Channel-produced movies. Doesn't even look like a Pred anymore. I'd prefer a 'roided-up Bad Blood to those any day! As a monster, it's not too bad, but that does not work in a Predator flick.

Now I know the real reason they've put in the Classic Predator. It's not really a nod to the fans -- it's only there because the new Preds they came up with look godawful! Methinks it's time we brought Stan Winston back from the dead and gave RR and Nimrod Antal a much-needed _____slap. I guess it's hopeless; we're never going to get a good Alien/Predator film out in the 21st century. I mean, I loved AVP (yup, I said it), but most people seemed to hate it. The franchise, sadly enough, seems screwed.

On another note, the Falconer bio looks amazing in those pics. I think I actually like him more than BSP bio now (something about his mask just seems... off). Well, if I ever get an HT figure from this film, it's gonna be Falconer for sure.
