As redundant as finding links to reviews that back a "positive" opinion for no other reason than to continually state said "positive" opinion, right? Works both ways. But there's a double standard like I said. The former gets you labeled a "troll" or "negative" or a "trouble maker". The latter, is accepted.

Basically any opposing viewpoint on here, any opinion that doesn't fall in line with the majority of a particular thread is considered "negative". And to me, that's BS.

I think you're looking far more into it than needed. I've seen negative remarks about the new predators that led into healthy discussion. People even digitally modified the pics to show their POV and were welcomed for it. So I don't think that's always the case. But again, here's it's the same damn thing reiterated over and over and it's not adding to the discussion. Kinda like what you're doing.

Whats funny is that regardless of the good and the bad reviews, if you have come into this thread, you are probably going to go see it. I've read the reviews, and guess what...I couldn't give 2 $#!+'s what some other guy thinks, but I find it interesting to hear others opinions. My ass will be in that seat this Friday, and I'll give an assessment at that point. And just like many others, I'll probably geek out at the fact that Predators are on screen and look past many of the movies shortcomings (within reason.)

I plan on seeing it. On DVD if it's really cheap or on Starz/HBO or whatever.

I disagree. Discussion moves in several different directions about a topic, even this, until 8th posts yet another trolling post reiterating the same thing he's already mentioned. The fact that he's already been infracted and gotten this thread locked up once already should be a HUGE clue. I got an infraction because OTHERS were causing trouble in this thread and Maulfan warned people that if there ever was a nasty back and forth insult match over here the person would get an infraction. I'll be seeing this movie myself and judging it on it's own merits. From everything I've seen and read (great article in Fango BTW), it would seem they know what they're doing and have a healthy enough respect for P1 not to pull an AVP/AVPR.

You guys are rediculous. The "ownership" people take of threads is insane. While there are indeed "troll" members who add posts to threads purely out of want to stir ____ up and piss people off, there are people who just have negative viewpoints and want to share them as much and often as people with positives.

To quote Rocky, "the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows", every thread is going to have it ups and downs, live with it and continue posting your own views and leave the people you disagree with be or at least engage them in discussion or debate, some form of productive conversation, but non of this bullying or don't come in here if you're not going to say what I want to hear crap, regardless of what people think, you don't own these threads, their open to everyone and every opinion, and any commentary outside of the rules will be dealt with.

I've given you guys plenty of chances to clean your acts up in here and it's the same ones getting into it with each other over and over, it's rediculous that you guys can't just grow up and behave like civil, mature adults, so fine, if you can't change yourselves, then take the discussion somewhere else.

The movie opens 7/9 in the U.S., I will reopen this thread one last time on that date so people can discuss this film after actually seeing it, I'm not trying to ruin the fun for the folks keeping out of trouble over the few problem ones, but you can't lock specific members out of a thread so it's all or none, and this A&R section is really getting out of hand lately so I hope the moderating of this thread will server as a general notice about treating each other in a civilized manner. Absolutely no joking though, this next reopening is it, if the crap continues, no more chances, so if people really want this thread for chat, I suggest you take it up with your peers and encourage them to act maturely for everyone's benefit.

one thing i didn't like about the movie was the two species of predators thing - does anyone know if this has been in comic books or any other media before? i wouldn't have minded if it was 2 clans, but 2 species didn't quite sit right with me.

also, which of the 3 pred designs did you like most? my personal fave would have to be the falconer. mr. black reminded me of the AVP preds a little, and the tusked one must be the reincarnation of the boar that mac killed back in 87
