Robert Rodriguez's PREDATORS Movie Thread - SPOILERS

These pics are freaking me out.

This one, the Predator looks like the retarded Mongoloids from AvP and AvP-R....



And then here....it looks closer to Stan's design...






Now I mean, the obvious reasoning could be they were just messing with the mouth motors. But I thought this same thing when ADI did their behind the scenes with AvP. They had their mouths open insanly wide. The movie did the same thing...it was horrible.


I really, REALLY dont want them to ____ this up. I dug the script, dug the characters, I even supported the Predators, who were strange.

But please...PLEASE dont ____ up the design with the one Normal Predator in the movie....

I see. I dunno, I cant really judge a suit pic. Mainly because we dont know what they'll ultimatly look like on screen.

But the Preds dont look as SUPER BLACK AWESOME as the script said....which I dont mind. I pefer a more Predator 1 esq Predator. Simple design.

No worries,i actually found your comment pretty funny,i just could'nt resist replying with what a did.

I must admit im not thrilled with the super predators (with what we can actually see),but im glad their not as described in the script,they sounded like some fan made crap to me with spikes all over their armour etc,so in a way a lot of my fears on design have wilted some what

One thing I like is this Predator looks to have a deeper profile to the head than the AVP Predators, more like P1 and P2, which I presonally like better.

Those Predators don't look bad. I'd buy the figures if Hot Toys made 'em. The movie doesn't even have to be great, or good (just decent, please). I mean, I bought from the HT AVP and AVPR line even though those movies sucked.

the HT designs were great though in both lines. The AVP Pre's weren't bulky linebacker's and Wolf's design is just awesome.

Im going to draw a line! Not give in! Pick on Predator I like the look of and was cool in the movie, get it and that be it! I like the look of the one with Tusks the best so far
