Re: Robocop....making a comeback?

Good vid, showed a classicy looking costume which looks to be changed to the blacker one we've seen.

I like the idea of big battle with the different OCP robots. One thing that'd be good to see is Murphy lash out after waking to find he's become a product against his will

There are 3 suits in this movie!:yess:

Re: Robocop....making a comeback?

I'm sure there'd be less crying in this thread if people got this color of the suit instead.

I have to admit, it does work.

Re: Robocop....making a comeback?

Works for me and I don't mind them stealing the idea of having multiple MK's of suits. It shows they haven't perfected him yet and there's just no way a bright silver suit can be any beneficial in a combat environment, but its a good way to get the "nod" out of the way early and then explain why he goes with a stealthier looking suit.

Not with that stupid human hand, it doesn't. :nono Anyway, this suit likely sees maybe 5min of screen time before they switch to the black Iron Man knockoff so any good it would bring is irrelevant.

Re: Robocop....making a comeback?

Waiting for netflix stream on this one

Re: Robocop....making a comeback?

The hand makes no sense. There needs to be a circulatory system, a nervous system to keep the hand alive. The elbow joint shows there is no organic arm connected to the hand.

The engineering to keep the hand alive makes the arm 1) more expensive 2) weaker. A robot hand is impervious to pain and has a stronger grip. A real hand is a weak link in the chain.

It looks dumb having a hand at the end of the arm.

And the idea of different suits blows. He's not Suitcop, he's Robocop. He's a small pile of meat and a head inside a robot shell. He doesn't change clothes for special occasions.

It'll hit SyFy first. :lol

No, it will hit Bravo first.

I like this one better...
According to the featurette this will be the original suit,
should've been the final one IMO.

Also, I'm thinking that the reasoning behind the "naked" hand has something to do with his T.J. Lazer moves...

Weller did it with gloved hands. Are you suggesting the actor is too incompetent to spin his pistol with the glove on? :lol
