True.. BUT there's enough out there now to get a pretty good idea about what to expect - visuals aside.And the fact whether something will always be in demand or not is redundant when what I am arguing is that you cannot judge something properly before you see it. You just can't.
Yeah, I did see that - cool.And if you look at my previous posts, you'll see that I agree with what you are saying about modern audiences dismissing movies that they deem to be too old and how ridiculous it is.
Perhaps.. it won't help things though, when they get to the boardroom scene where Keaton (I think) basically rubbishes the original black & silver RoboCop design - says.. how about all black. Pretty much sets the tone right there.All I'm saying is, at the very LEAST, some people will see the '14 version, like it, and then consequently watch the '87 version and realise what a great movie it is, when they would've otherwise rejected it on shallow terms.
