I'm actually wondering why Keaton, Oldman or some of the other announced actors want to work on this thing.

I know Samuel Jackson will do anything but this cast seems sort of odd.

I think his only real shot at a comeback would be along the lines of what Stallone did. Burton needs to cast him in a "Dark Knight Returns-esque" Batman 3 and retcon the Schumacher films at the same time. But you Batman 89/Returns fans already shot that notion down when I suggested it a couple of months ago.

Burton's not the filmmaker he used to be. All his films in the past decade have sucked wide open ass.

Burton's talent bled out after Sleepy Hollow, leaving a pale Burtonesque corpse to continue making films. Anybody who says differently is clearly huffing a pair of his dirty chonies.
