Not sure about the suit, but people would Bit** if it looked exactly the old one too.

Did they ***** in 1990 and 1993 that the suit looked the same as the one from 1987? Nope.

Sequels change suits all the time. Batman Returns, Forever, Iron Man movies, Cap, Thor, Avengers, TDK, etc. But nobody complained that they left Robocop alone for parts 2 and 3 because that suit is an icon.

Agreed.......but again this is a remake, hence why they changed the suit.

all this just means this suit would have been better received if it was silver,
a Silver suit, no matter what shape, would have probably been better received by fans,
I mean, more than anything that is the real look of Robocop, a silver suit, even if the design changes, the color stayed the same in the sequels, you see the silver metal color and you know it is robocop, it is like his trademark,


I mean, I think the color black is the problem, it is an eyesore, it looks like Batman, Black Ironman suit, GI JOE,

if it was silver Maybe, Maybe it would have looked better, I never thought about this, but I think that is the biggest problem

I personally think they messed up on that, it looks stupid black,
I think the design itself is okay, it is just the color that ruins it,

Absolute trash if that is indeed the suit they went with. Looks like the studio ****ed this up from the get go. Not going to blame Jose Padilha Rubbercop's director though simply because he directed two of my absolute favorite police drama/action films of the last decade, Elite Squad 1 and 2. Those two films had balls, blood letting, and some of the best shootouts put up on the screen in recent memory. Too bad that's NOT what we're getting with Rubbercop. Good for Hugh Laurie for leaving.

Reminds me of the cannon-fodder henchmen of Masters of the Universe or maybe something from Stallones Judge Dredd. Not terrible but not Robocop either.
