Anyone been billed for this yet - 15 days since I received my 10-15 day notice.... so just wondering ?

Cheers!!!

Sideshow made an error and sent out a bunch of those notices too early.

At least, that's what I was told by Corner Store Comics.

I called them to see if the order I placed through them would be arriving soon as well (since they're getting their inventory from SSC). After they talked to Sideshow, they told me those notices had been accidentally sent out too early. Notice how it's still not listed in the "Coming in 30 Days" list?

So, it looks as though Robocop will still be an August release as originally expected.

Robocop has arrived for one lucky Australian. Purchased from ABC Express at a good price too. He must have got in early in the game.

Toy Square in Canada has it listed as In-Stock now as well. Seems as though people who bought from foreign retailers are getting them now. Still, I need the extra few weeks to get the money together, so that's fine with me. :)

Just like the other HT figures, they can be had sooner (and more expensively) from importers.

had to cancel mine because it just didnt fit in the budget.:monkey2 but i will look for sometime next year.

Same here:monkey2...Which I was kinda sad about, but had to make room the MANY things coming in the next month or two!

Did you can your ED-209 as well ? I could live without the Robocop - there are other ok versions out there - but ED-209 looks outstanding !

yeah im afraid i canned ED too. didnt see the point in having him patrol the shelf by himself so i decided to give him up. i would like a Cain from Robocop 2 though.... thats something i need for my collection.

I've been on the fence about this one since first seeing the pics. Are there any reviews of it anywhere yet?

The only review I have heard is from Brant, and that speaks loudly to me. From memory he said it was an engineering masterpiece. I believe that to be the case.

I am with Lord Azrael. I would like them both, but have secured myself an ED209, which will be rarer and harder to get later, so am happy to delude myself that something like McFarlanes battle damaged Robocop is up par. It is clear from the pics that Hot Toys Robocop has much better detail and the hidden holster is just the coolest of cool features. The subtleties, like the way the achilles tendon can bend at the point of attachment, the added hands and fist spike, the see through eye lens, the removeable helmet, just screams best Robocop ever. The only real criticism is the lack of mechanical detail on the back of the head. Otherwise it is perfect.

Perfect besides from timing. There is no stopping the Comic Con, and what Sideshow has in store for us. I'm glad I haven't spent all my pennies, but with possible goodies to be obtained, such as tomorrows Uni monster surprise, I may be close to zilch by the time the con comes round.

Hmm...gotta link?

The review you reffered to. I looked up Brant on the members list but didn't see that name. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you meant.

I believe they mean this quote by Sideshow Brant:

I have held the Robocop in my very own hands, and he is a thing of beauty. The working thigh holster is engineering bliss - very nicely done. I believe there are Weller likeness issues that prevent a fully removable helmet, but I could be wrong.
You may not want to rush to pre-order these from the usual Asian importers...:naughty

...Weller likeness issues that prevent a fully removable helmet...???? I seam to remember pictures of HT's RC holding it's helmet in hand. I also remember that some of us where complaining about the back of RC's head not being 100% accurate: there where no electrical/mechanical parts seen on the back of his head, as it should be.
