I thought they made a guitar based on the John's Rickenbacker?

That's the one I want. I'm seriously considering nabbing just the game and then getting the set and the additionals down the line and returning the unopened game then. I really want to play this.

I wish I had preordered everything when I had the chance. Now I have to scurry around getting this stuff. Oh well...it's the Beatles, so it's worth the effort.

Some more pics! Enjoy. :monkey5

:rock awesome set up

Having a blast playing this game. My wife and I did a 8 song set-list, then me and my son sang 'Here Comes the Sun' together and my wife and daughter sang 'Eight Days a Week' together earlier tonight.

Good times.... :)

I bought everything. The Limited Edition bundle with the Hofner bass and the Ludwig drum, plus the Rickenbacker and the Gretsch guitars on top of that. As a 360 owner I also had "All You Need is Love" downloaded before I even had my hands on the game.

Yesterday as I'm playing the game the doorbell rings and it's my stereo and mono CD box sets from Amazon.com.

I've been listening to the CDs in chronological order, mono first, then stereo. I've got the white album in stereo on right now. I should be able to finish the CDs tomorrow.

That's the one I got.. because John is awesome.

he is awesome but my top three fav songs by the beatles (I Need You, Here Comes the Sun, and Something) were written by George so he gets my vote for favorite beatle

I had a 50% off coupon good towards any video game at Amazon, and they accepted it on the bundle, so I was able to save $125. I've only had time to play 2 or 3 songs, but I was smiling the whole time.

I hate you both!

Nah, just kidding. Congrats on the great scores, guys! :duff

Yea I never really noticed it before but I do tend to gravitate more toward the John songs myself. Actually the first song I 5 stared on Rock Band was Come Together :lol

That coupon wouldn't still be active would it? :monkey3

It was a shame George Harrison did not write more songs for the Beatles.
Here comes the Sun is one of my favourites on the game.

As for who made the best songs, I don't think it's as cut and dry as that,
as both Lennon and McCartney brought out the best in each other.

I have been playing this game all day and it's a blast. I have never had a Rock Band/Guitar Hero game before and I doubt I would have bought one if they never made a Beatles version.

I saw the Rickenbacker at Walmart and supposedly the local Game Stop has the Gretsch. Hopefully they'll still be there when I get back from my trip next week. :(

I somehow found enough time today to play through the game in story mode. I really enjoyed the opening and closing videos--eye candy for sure.

It's a bummer that the final rooftop set was my least favorite. That's OK, though, since there were so many great songs throughout. They did a good job mixing the obvious choices with a few that might not have come to mind when thinking of the typical greatest hits approach, but were fun to play in the game.

(However, my hopes of singing "Hey Jude" into my Rock Band microphone seem to be dashed upon the rocks. And where was "Help"? I could actually go on for a long time thinking of suggestions for downloadable content...)

It was a one time use deal applied to my account, after using their used game trade-in program.
