Yup, a great buy for the price too, especially if you're a fan of RAMBO and HT never delivers a figure from that movie, it's 12" high and blends pretty good with the HT figures.

I'm with Rock on this statue though, for $300, the "off" aspects are enough to pass on the piece. For $150 they could be ignored like those on the RAMBO statue, but at twice the price, I think this could look better.

for me personally, I think these type of items look better with a bit more idealized style, even though that means its unrealistic. IE, I would have gone without all those ugly veins and such. ick. I don't really expect anyone else on this forum to understand that.

$300 is stretching it a bit but if It was the only thing from this movie that was legit to get figure or statue wise then yeah I'd get it. But with HT doing a 1/6 figure I'm holding out

I'm a huge Rocky collector and $300 is a lot, but it is a very limited release and there really isn't any Rocky collectibles being released anymore, so I think am going to be in the minority here and go for this statue. I really like the detail on it and the name plate is really cool. It says the famous line from the movie poster "It ain't over til it's over"

When is HT doing this Rocky VI figure?

HT`s DX might be a Rocky 1 too,don`t forget that,or a Rocky IV with beard training.

Rocky83 What is HT's DX? I would love to see a street collector Rocky I fig.

I really thought HT was done with their Rocky line because it's almost two years since the Italian Stallone version was released.

I'm still hoping Ht does a Rocky I and Rocky II fight figs with battle damaged faces. The red robe from Rocky I would be great to have. They made a great belt for the R3 and R4 fig, but that belt would really look great on a Rocky II fig.

Rocky83 What is HT's DX?

Hot Toys has started a line of DX (Deluxe) figures in their movie masters series, which Rocky and Rambo are part of.

An overseas publication was partially read and rumored that a Rocky and Rambo figure would be made in this DX line. A number of us have been hopeful this would be Rocky and Rambo from the most recent films in each series.

I am an art instructor at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Ca, and worked for the Walt Disney Company for 2 decades as a graphic artist. I just bought the Balboa statue because of Maga's attention to detail. And because I'm an old guy that one registered with me. 300 is a bit pricey, but since I never bought any of the HT products I figured why not. It will look great in my office next to my signed Rocky Balboa script.

Arnie Kim over at Enterbay made a Street Gear custom earlier,don`t know if that is a tease of what`s to come from Enterbay,would be really cool though.

He probably pays a percentage of each one he sells would be my guess. Probably around 15%. So after materials, labor, painter's cost...

It's been almost a month since anyone posted anything about the Rocky Balboa Statue. Anybody hear anything new about it or get it yet? I like to see some new pics of it.

The sculpture, Maga said the reason for the high $300 is because it's limited to only 30 pieces and the detail well be much better then a mass produced statue. I think the statue should've been priced $150-$200, but at only 30 pieces total I don't think he well have any trouble selling out.

I bought one and it is amazing! The attention to detail is great. There was one problem with a hand that broke off durning shipping, but Edinho was great about it and is shipping a replacement. I will post some pics when the new one arrives.
