Well said Brainiac!

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16) *NO SPOILERS ALLOWED*

Buddy of mine saw it last night. He said pretty much what most reviews are saying. It's really good. Only things wrong with it are related to pacing. Trying to cram to much into too short a space.

Re: Rogue one: Spoilers confirmed! You are warned do no read these are real

I loved Vader's house. I think it was based on a very old (1980?) McQuarrie sketch of the possible Emperor's lair that always intrigued me.

Not sure I liked Vader's houseboy or him bathing in a bacta tank.

I liked the carbon freezing chamber nod in Vader's greeting foyer.

But I have to get used to the new Vader. He definitely felt a bit fan-made to me -- voice, gate, costume, everything. But I loved his final moments in this film and as someone mentioned, it was probably the most badass and dangerous we've ever seen Vader on film.

I also like the nod of him on the gantry in space -- just as the original script mentioned him walking across to the Tantive in the vacuum of space.

I really liked it. Despite its flaws. Run -- don't walk -- to experience this for yourself.

That's my spoiler review. :D

Not liking the weather forecast for Saturday. Have my tickets, just hope the babysitter comes regardless of snow fall.

He's strange specially in the Casdtle scene. Something is wrong with the neck, shoulder, cape combination.

Yup. The idea that Vader has a cool castle surrounded by lava goes back to the 80s.

I like that his lair would be similar to the very thing that created him.

I didn't think everyone would die. Balls. Tarkin's CGI was amazing, didn't think much of Chirrut and Baze, liked Cassian and Jyn. But I mainly thought Galen and Krennic were the standouts. And man, was Forest Whitaker wasted in it.

As everyone has said, those last ten minutes were incredible.

Just got out after seeing this now. I really enjoyed this. It's essentially a war movie, it has it's funny moments but has it's dark moments. I'm glad Disney broke the happy shiney Marvel trend and gave us something gritty and non-polished.
