Well I spent (a great deal of) time putting him together tonight, so below are some pics. The tabs do suck, but the shoulder pads also get held in place by little hooks which helps. The head is not attached very well to the neck adapter, so it is very loose. The straps on the hands don't stay connected very well via the cheap velcro used. The other biggest single issue out of the box with this figure though (after the armor peg issue) is the wrist pegs. They are too loose for the arms, so they fall out very easy. One looks like it had some glue put on it to help keep it in place, but that doesn't help much. Body seems OK in terms of holding poses, but the wrist pegs are horrible.

Having said all that, amazing looking figure when all is said and done. Definitely worth the price, despite the issues. I think the head looks quite good like I said before, and I don't see any need to go with the Iminime one now.

Thanks for the info and pics karamazov, I don't know why but I am having second thoughts, you pictures make it look awesome, but the armor and body issues are stuck in my mind.

Just cancelled mine at BBTS who ever still wants one for $200 it doesn't say sold out now so go try and grab it!

That was a crazy move. :horror:cuckoo:

This figure looks incredible. Many figures that are mass produced need a few tweaks here and there.

Sam - Thanks for posting the great pics. This is a beautiful figure and I can't wait to have it. Thanks also for your information on the piece. :goodpost:

Fantastic :panic::clap:clap:yess:

Karamazov, have you tried transporting the armor and headsculpt to a HT body? Would it fit, you think?

I have not. I'm reasonably sure the armor etc. would fit on another body. The wrist and ankle pegs look like Hot Toys ones, so the hands and shoes could be compatible. One other thing I think folks are going to want to mod are these little maroon strips of fabric. They are pretty cheap.

These latest in-hand photos look fantastic. HS much improved over proto. This is one of my most anticipated figures.

Price will come down once these start getting into collectors' hands. There are always an impatient few who just can't help themselves and get into early, irrational bidding wars.

Hopefully, wouldn't mind picking up a second one at a decent price.

Great pics by the way.:rock Thanks for posting.

Holy Cow. The mail just ran and I got the General. Just now opening him up. That was some fast shipping from HK......
