It's nice, but people need to stop using that song in trailers. It was made for the Two Towers trailer and that's where it should stay.

It wasn't made for the two towers trailer. it is a classical music piece called summer overture I believe. It was in requiem for a dream long before it was in the two towers.

seriously I think hayden did a good job on ROTS... but I think lucas's dialog is the equivalent of a third grader's.

Lucas is very fortunate in many ways that he had the Original Trilogy to back up his work and drive fans to see his latest movies.

If SW had started with The Phantom Menace in 1999 and been followed up by Attack Of The Clones in 2002, I don't think we'd have ever got to movie number 6.

The original trilogy is a classic and the criticisms against TPM and AOTC would have been much harder if not for the OT.

His work taken as a classic and made in the seventies was fine, but the PT scripts don't stand up against todays high standard of scripting and plot etc.

Just IMO

Flame away LOL.

Yes, that's true. But this song is a different version, a remix that's more upbeat and 'movie trailer' like. It was made specifically for the Two Towers trailer, it's called Requiem for a Tower, you can get the album of the same name with several different cuts of it. But yeah, that remix (which is way better than the original) should stay with The Two Towers.

Movie trailers have used previous movie scores over and over since the begining. Why stop now lol.

Trailer was ok.

YEs, it is Clint Mansell's piece that he did for Requiem for a Dream with Jennifer Connelly. He remixed a bout three times and a slew of others have taken it and remixed it to death!
Requiem for Tower was the 'joke' title of this last remix for TTT trailer. It's a great piece, but the melody is the key piece here and that was around before TTT trailer hit.But this first part of this fan trailer IS from LOTR and Howard Shore.

It was ok, but of course that trailer would be better in hindsight. The ending was MUCH too intese though. Way too much action for a trailer.

Meh... Its OK. I didn't even think the music was especially good. Sounded like the background to a Nancy Grace broadcast on courtTV.

I like it.

Who can count how many times Danny Elfman's score for Nightmare Before Christmas has been used in a trailer?

Pretty good. I liked it. I thought they would have inserted something with Anakin's sith eyes like right at the end. They missed that key turning point in the film. That is the nerd in me talking. I personally thought it was pretty good. Why do people bother doing this though? Like a hobby type of deal? Or are they trying to get editing jobs? I'm not picking I really would like to know. I am not a big youtuber.

it's more the fun of creating something you like I think. It's why a lot of us customise figures, even when nobody will ever see them. Making something you like, and something that maybe is better than what's already out there :)

I think most people do this kind of thing as a form of artistic expression, some people feel the need to do that kind of stuff.

I enjoy writing, Hunky Artist and others like customizing and I guess this guys thing is making the SW trailer he'd have liked to see for Episode Three and sharing it with the rest of us.

All good stuff:cool:
