Ha! I'm the same way-- when I first got my hands on the japanese with english subs, I almost couldn't stand the way their voices sounded. I got over it, but there will always be a special place in my mind for the dub voices. I prefer them :D

Though

TeamFourStar is my favorite parody dubbing group, hands-down

ahmergerd buhgeeter how long does it take amazon to get their preorders up when figures are announced I want this thing

I like Kai, but I love the original. The old school, 1980s-1990s cartoon style defines DB/DBZ for me. Watching it in HD and remastered looks fine but i'd prefer original.

Got my Cell yesterday :panic:

Im thinking of ordering a second Gohan, to make this custom. Although Ive never done a custom before and might end up just wasting forty bucks!

It would be a little hard considering sdcc gohan has no undershirt, but theres one guy on youtube "anthonyscustom" try messaging him he would deff be able to do it he does insanely good jobs

Anthony customs is good at painting, but I've never see him do a sculpting job. Not saying that he cant do it, but it'd be insanely expensive for you. If you only want it repainted then sure you can go to Anthony, but if you want it done properly then you'll have to order some expoxy putty. This stuff is easy to use for anyone, all youll need is your hands and an exacto knife. There are a few good tutorials on how to sculpt with it on youtube.

I wouldnt use epoxy putty unless you are completely sure of what you are doing; while its true that it is easy to use, it is also quite difficult to perfect, doing it wrong could mess up thw figure and make it look rubbish.

Its not just a matter of slapping the stuff on and waiting for it to harden lol, you need to take points of articulation into account aswell; you may end up with a statue if done wrong!

Sorry if I sound a bit condescending, but I just dont want to see anyone waste their figures!

Well, the epoxy putty isnt all that complex really. It can ruin a figure, but you'd have to be a little on the slow side for that to happen, lol. Most epoxy that I've used takes 5 or more hours to completely dry, depending on the amount used. Now, if you sculpt something that doesnt look right, then you can simply take it off without any damage at all, but if you sculpt something that you dont like and then let it dry then youd have a problem.

Ive used that expoxy putty in the past, its really good. You simply cut to even strips of each color and put them together, then the putty is ready for sculpting. Anyone can do it, honest.
