I don't know why I didn't start collecting sooner the prices of these figures are crazy. I have been in to DBZ since I can remember just never got into collecting but I finally picked up my first two pieces at my first comic con. I pick up two SDCC exclusive Vegeta and a Super Saiyan Goku.

$50 is retail. $60 plus shipping you will probably find, but not likely for $50 plus shipping.

Based on the rules I know I can't sell anything yet but would trading be out also? I picked up two Vegetas at SDCC and since I just got into collecting would like to trade for something comparable not sell it and rip some one off.

Scouter was going for about $75-80 forever, sold mine for $65 less than a month ago, now I can't find it for less than $100! So stupid!

These dang figuarts are brilliant investments. I'm buying two of all of them from now on and just stashing one away. Almost did that with Trunks. Had a second SDCC gohan for about a year that I sold for $100... HALF of what it goes for now. Just crazy. Glad I didn't sell the rest. Only missing the two vegetas and ss3 goku. Never had SDCC Goku, but regretting not getting him for $100 about a year ago.

Yeah mine was opened and I sold him in opened box but mint condition, barring the loose legs thing, for about 50 bucks a while ago. I'm not hurt about the loss financially. Just bummed out I'd rather have had two after all.

I'm only annoyed about the price for him since I now have to rebuy him. Losing out on gohan bc I sold too soon, oh well, it happens all the time.

oh yeah for those that are clamoring for a Trunks/Gohan bootleg, be careful what you wish for..

however these are NOT made by Datong (at least, I hope not)

also those that are skilled or just want to experiment in paint apps can easily add the much-wanted gold-tipped boots to the Datong bootleg. It's ok if you mess up, because they're cheap & are widely available whereas the legit version you wouldn't want to experiment on at all. That's what I plan on doing.. cheers to those that are waiting on Tamashii to release their own in about 2 or 3 years


I will also take a photo of that Vegeta image in a lil while, after my workout session (trying to get that Goku physique! mainly want a 6pack tho

An android 16 before a majin vegeta, with everyone screaming for a ssj vegeta we haven't seen since 2012 is still crazy in my eyes. Barkin mad.

I'm upset about Android/Cell Games Saga Super Saiyan Vegeta not being re-released but I'm definitely hoping for a Majin Vegeta. He was such a bada**.

What my dream is now is a complete fighting setup of everyone fighting someone in ssj, or otherwise powered up form. + a vanilla powered down, group shot, just standing there badass. And all of that needs to be period accurate within the setup.

Currently that's impossible to complete without vegeta and trunks doubles, as well as the lack of a non ssj gohan.

Unless they want to collect all of the figures for different sagas, I don't think it'll be that bad. The villains would be the worst followed by Trunks but all of the other main heroes should be getting different versions in the future.
