16 right after broly and 17 and 18 in between probably the quickest rising sdcc exclusive yet. Pretty financially taxing time in this line for those who collect everything.

Did anyone see yesterday an auction of Trunks going for $405? wth? you know what's even weirder? it got re-listed right today.... wonder what's going on. Would anyone sell their Trunks for $400? I'm kind of tempted if that's what it's going for now.. crazy..

Thats just insane! No one in their right mind spends that on a figure. I mean shoot if u have the cash to throw like that by all means. But regular folks like me with a family and average life would not lol. Id sell mine but then would be assed out that figure , so in the end I loose haha

No, those bidders didn't pay for it. And that Trunks is broken! How do I know? Because the very first time that guy listed the figure I won the auction for 200$, then I asked him to show me the peg and the hole on his back and he realized it was broken... He listed it again and some guys bid... First I get scammed with Cell, then I almost win a Goku SDCC but a guy put the bid 100$ higher and I almost pay 200$ for a broken Trunks... Now i'll rest a little from my figuarts hunt...(until next week :p).

But I also got Krillin and one of the best: C18!!! :D

Sucks, hate scammers!...anywho great set up bro! where are those bases/stands from?

I bought the stands from an italian guy on ebay, I loved the idea when I saw them and he made me a great price for the 3 of them. He still has some dioramas on ebay but I don't like them :s (if anyone is interested I'll give you his contact by pm). I started making one of my own with the same idea but a little more ambitious, I hope I can make it, I'll show you!

I know what this supposed form is, those videos didn't further educate me.

I'm not trying to deny that people can fire the Kamehamaha in that fashion. What I'm trying to say is that they don't always have to do it like that.

Look, I know that the hands have to be clawed in that certain way, and that you have to join them at the wrists. I know that (usually) you pull back your cupped hands, charge up the wave, then thrust your hands forward and fire. I accept that. I'm not arguing that.

I'm arguing that the 'proper form' The_Philosopher described here

is not actually a set routine. The arms can be straight or bent in any way really. And the torso does not have to face to the side.

I'm not trying to be unnecessarily stubborn, it's just that I have not seen any evidence in favor of what The_Philosopher said.

Are we using the same definition of "straight" here? I'm talking about bending at the elbows. If you are including the shoulders, then of course every Kamehameha will have bent arms.
Read the whole discussion and pretty intense lol, If u try and do the move(us in person) u notice that the "earth" arm begins to stress at the elbow, which would mean why the "earth" arm bent is the most logical "true form haha
I say watch Ryu from street fighter and compare the 2 lol

Thats cool, yeah send me the info and keep me posted on urs :)

Wait I remember he listed that it was broken in this auction.

Sadly i ****ed up my trunks and broke the peg in mine too... =/

also those stands looks awesome! i will pm you for more info. hehe

I've seen a few of those dioramas from Italy on ebay before and was never that impressed by them, but yours look amazing Elpidio! Silrian your Piccolo pic at the end is definitely the best of the bunch, that pose just has so much attitude.

Well and datong having the original molds or exact copies does not itself mean bandai had a complicit hand in it. lots of other ways to obtain things. Shady employee could sell them, datong could steal them, etc.

I just got my Datong Vegeta and he's an awesome counterfeit! Very well done. I have some well-made counterfeit sports jerseys and the Datong Vegeta ranks up there with them. Even the transitional paint tones are a nice touch.

I'm sure Bandai is in no way complicit. This is NOT happening on their watch NOR is it at happening at any of their "regular" factories (unless it's "late night runs"). It's likely something that Surly suggested...

Commonly what happens too is that toy companies "switch" Chinese factories. This happened to Hasbro when I was collecting G.I. Joes and they had some counterfeits come out. At a Joe Convention, we actually asked what happened and they explained it as best they can. I think this is possibly what happened to Bandai. When these companies "switch" factories, often they try to retrieve all the materials, molds, etc. because of the contracts signed & their negotiated terms. Of course, things slip through the cracks and sometimes these factories underhandedly "sell" left-over molds or happen to "find" them later on. They continue manufacturing these counterfeits knowing they can make a decent profit off of them working with local businesses (like Datong).

It's likely Datong happened over one of Bandai's left-over molds and is using Bandai's old factory. The factory owners/bosses could very well be profiting off of this scam as well.

I don't agree with it but I'll sure as hell jump in for a cheaper deal. I at least hope it puts a bug in Bandai's ear to re-release SSJ Vegeta!!!

Hey very nice man! Well on your way and love the clean area with a few well applied environmental pieces. Makes 'm all pop!

I personally still think the manga goku head on the manga norm goku body looks terrible and the least show accurate version, but hey, just my opinion.

And no way you shouldn't! Remember my tyrades on bootlegs? Yeah, Ef Tamasbro for not rereleasing vegeta nor giving any info/prospect about it, they really make their own loss now. Although I do think anyone buying a bootleg should replace it for the real deal if they ever make it.

With this 16 and a massive broly.... I kinda want 1st form Cell in his more accurate scale (he's bigger than perfect cell) now...

Could somebody explain to me why piccolo is ****ing cell up at first meeting and cell actually flees. And then he utterly demolishes piccolo when he sucks up 17?

I think Cell was alot stronger due to absorbing alot of peoples essence, or at least thats what the manga states. Dont quite believe that myself unless he absorbed almost the entire population, since the average humans power was 5, not much of an increase per person!
