How big is the statue? It seems to look good, classic scene. Sometimes I think the best DBZ collectibles are probably statues, since the action-figures are always way off/directed at kids save for these SHFs.

I kinda considered getting the Chozo Art Collection SS Goku recently, but unfortunately the 2nd version available in the market now has odd translucent hair instead of normal shaded ones.

He's 14 inches tall. You can pull the frieza out separately. The guy selling it is the guy who designed it. He sells them on eBay. Search for trunks frieza statue. If you are going to get one, pm me so I can let him know I referred you. I'm sure he'll try to offer you a discount of some sort. He has other statues, too, for Dbz, like buu after he swallowed Gohan. Again, if you are interested in buying from him, let me know so I can try to get you a discount since I just bought one from him. When I get it in the mail next week, I'll try to post a pic and do a small review of it in-hand. This has been my favorite statue I've seen so far for dbz. Definitely my favorite trunks statue. Hope it matches the quality of what I see on the auction.

I had similar problems putting on the clip as well, as the head will pop off due to the width of the clip

What i did is just use the rod and take off the clip. Surprisingly it holds him quite well. Try it!

I'll try the idea with just using a rod, good thinking outside the box!

HLJ basically works like this. They don't ship unless all items within the SAME order number (basically, if you check out at the same time) are in stock, unless it's been on order for over 2 months. So in your case, they'll charge and ship your 2 items together, unless the back-order takes more than 2 months.

They've got great customer service, but aren't good at grouping pre-orders, because pre-orders usually go up at least 3 months prior to the release date. And there's nothing worst than having multiple items pre-ordered in the same month, but having to see them shipped out individually week by week.

oh I just checked (since my friend is the one who helped me out), use the flat type of the head of the clip, on the rod. But dont use the clips. Put it vertically, should be flat and stable and grip the inside of Piccolo's cape.

Shouldve made regular Goku as the exclusives. That one would sell at $70-80 no doubt.
