What Bardoon said, the problem is communication. They're not being honest about what their policy is, because they're trying to have their cake and eat it too as it stands. And too boot they're ****ing eating the wrong cake too.
They're not communicating fairly, while breaking their own policy and THAT is what's truly ethically unacceptable imo. Hooking people with product they refuse to be clear on whether it'll ever be available again? That's not done imo. And I genuinely know of NO other company that does this. In anything actually. If you're not producing it anymore and it's sold out, you stop displaying it.
You can communicate unclearly and have unclear and unpredictable release line ups, and displaying whatever the hell with everything possible OR you can have a strict company policy and accept no exceptions which the consumer just has to deal with.
But you can't have it both.
