This is what happens when you guys support bootleg products.
As they get more profit, they will eventually venture on other products as well.
Which, at the moment, I honestly have few to no problems with. As long as Datong distinguishes the difference between their product and Tamashii's, the language on the box being the obvious indicator, I don't feel they're doing anything wrong but simply catering supply to a demand.
Although, I do feel that this will become a more difficult task at re-selling.
Not just them, but uninformed consumers who didn't know/can't tell the difference.
I felt bad for this kid, he didn't even know about the official line.
In the comments someone asked him it was the 'official' one, he replied "I think so, I ordered it from a toy company" I sent the kid a link to a review of the official S.H figuarts one, and he removed his comments about it's authenticity afterwards.
I imagine most of their buyers are likely between them, the customizers who make money from repainting them, and quite possibly, the local Chinese that live near the markets that sell them as well.
This is truly a downside on bootlegs and I won't argue about that aspect.
Edited: Glad you informed him, Philosopher.
