Not dbz related, but I just had a random thought... How cool would figuarts final fantasy figures be? I used to collect the play arts line but sold them all because I got frustrated with how brittle they could be and bad they were to pose. Figuarts cloud and sephiroth would be AMAZING.

I'd say Krillin just because his price is already going up. 17 I've noticed some sellers starting to bump but nothing like where Krillin is at right now.

Too expensive and I've only seen vincent and cloud in ff7... Did they announce they more? When I see a Sephiroth I might have to jump. My favorite character and i have the most stuff of him. I have pak cloud, only one I kept. Still... i want bandai to make them as figuarts. The scale and articulation and accessories would just be epic,

Im guessing tamashii couldnt find a way to release it, since Piccolo was already out when we first seen it. I actually think frankies version looks better though tbh.

I think that's the issue honestly, otherwise if Normal Goku came out before that display, he would not have had the kamehaha effect.

I might get the caneofbeams one at this point, not sure when.

Personally I feel the Play Arts Kai figures are just way too big in scale. They take up a lot of real estate on one's display, which is why I only own a handful of them (TDK Joker & Batman, Kratos, Sephiroth, Arkham Batman, Spike and Vicious from Cowboy Bebop)

Final Fantasy Figuarts would be amazing, though. Would definitely jump on that in a heartbeat.

Play Arts are in general an acquired test, but some of them are pretty worthwhile honestly. Like Kratos, Arkham Batman and TDK Batman and Joker which I own and are good pieces. There are a lot of bad ones though, and the quality control is terrible.

Did you guys see that BBTS had the Winter Exclusive Tamashii Magma Impact Effect for pre-order? Already pre-order sold out. I missed it...would've gone great with the red flame effect.

I'd definitely dig some Final Fantasy Figuarts! But considering the Square Enix OWNS Play Arts Kai, that's basically ALL profit for them since they pay ZERO licensing fees on any Square Enix properties in PAK format. They're going to keep a strangle hold on that. Kind of like Marvel with Toy Biz (since Marvel owned Toy Biz) and how Disney is allowing Marvel to publish Star Wars now, that's all production costs and ZERO licensing fees. Maximum profit.

I have a love/hate with PAK too. Their scale is massively inconsistent...they keep bouncing around with that and can't seem to settle and they're also pushing to try and fill the old Hot Toys price point at $100-$150 with select figures. They do some impressive work even though their Marvel/DC Variant line is "out there" and they manage to catch me here and there with one or two figures but mostly of stuff no one else is doing (like they have the most pose-able Assassins' Creed figures on the market). They also hold Final Fantasy which unless something happens to Square Enix like what happened to Squaresoft, I don't see them really licensing out Final Fantasy to anyone else...

Still, it's wishful thinking and would be awesome.

I too am in the process of switching up my display. Altering poses, scenes, etc. Although I need an entirely new display case. The one I have my eye on costs $400(!), but it'll be necessary for when Broly is released ._.
