The skin is too much for me to ignore and the outfit isn't really doing anything for me but it's so great to finally see the SS3 head with proper colors. Normal skin, subtle shading, and hair that doesn't look like spiky custard...now I'm glad I ignored the Jacksdo head and the vague unclaimed SS3 bootleg. chances are I'll pick this one up for the energy effects and a head swap with an official SS Goku.

The head is definitely the best part. The shading seems to be on point. Would love it if they (Datong or Tamashii) gave us a true anime accurate Goku body. I was super disappointed to see Ultimate Gohan just be a new head on the same body. I pray for a red gi one day. I mean I love SDCC Goku but you could so so much with the red gi.

Datong already has preorder for normal goku and ss goku ebay. I would not get those especially when you have the original ones still out for not a high price. Now, datong ss3 i might have to get that with more pictures of course to make my decision. But ss3 is too crazy expensive i dont mind datong for that or ss vegeta

Exactly. I can understand getting bootlegs for REALLY expensive figures. The Goku's are reasonably priced (for now). I wonder if they'll ever do SDCC versions (besides Arlian Vegeta). I'd think those would be really easy for them. Simple repaints.

I'm being a super completist with these dbz figuarts. Though I'm selling all my doubles and triples which hurts, I am going to make sure I have one of everything, including any KOs. So I just ordered the datong ss3 even though I have the original.

I ordered one as well. This should be superior to the Jacksdo head i have now. I may keep the body too since the extra manga goku body i have has that awful arm that falls off if you look at it wrong.
