As soon as I saw the energy effect, I thought Can of Beams started working for Tamashii. It's nice to see a display stand even if it's for the energy effect.

I think little improvements can be done to the face. Round off the eyebrows and maybe work on the smirk face a little. Almost looks too "Let's fight!" rather than "You're going to have to fight me!" Maybe bring down the hairline. May just be the manga skin tone. I know Manga Super Saiyan 2 Gohan seems to have a high forehead but the skin tone from the anime figure makes it look a lot better.

More excited for the release than I was before. Other than those minor improvements, a thumbs up hand would be the cherry on top!

Hopefully* Amazon will add all three of the new figures soon.

A stand and a blast effect huh? Well, at least it doesn't look like a giant sperm like Cell's Kamehameha.

I remember when I first got into the line last year and was watching and reading reviews for Perfect Cell. One reviewer said to never let your girlfriend near it and I've never been able to not think of that every time.

I'm definitely going to get the blue set for Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. It appears to be an improvement from the prototype shown at Tamashii Nations last year...

It's hot pink. It was always hot pink. It's as much red as Frieza is yellow.

Glad other people see it. The average Joe assumes it's red. It's more red with the aura, but we all know after so many years that hair has a false color with the aura.

Those pictures really put the hair into perspective. The hair sculpt is obviously too close together. All they need to do is slightly move the spikes out and it would be fine. Hopefully some Tamashii rep is combing (no pun intended ) this forum and takes these comments to Bandai.

The hair should spread out, not so compacted. I'm glad I convinced a few people of this.

One big smear, that's for sure. I like that there is more individual spikes, but it's ruined since there is no spikey, fanning out shape to it.

Toriyama been serving Gohan since the Cell saga ended. Gave him the Ultimate transformation just to get absorbed. Now he's a nerdy weakling in a green tracksuit. He literally just nerfed him. Losing a transformation? Remember these days ?

He was utterly useless in his Ultimate form. He could of killed Buu, but doesn't kill him since he thinks he can get his family and friends out of his body. Gohan really became stupid in the Buu series, and onward. Let's not forget, he toyed with Cell and got his dad and Trunks killed.

So here is my question. How likley is it that they make a RoF Vegeta? The more I think about it, I wonder if tamashii is waiting or they just are not going to make one. I really want a vegeta in that out fit.

Vegeta is extremely likely, it's inevitable.

Looks good, but his widow's peak is too extenuated. I know I know, Ultimate Gohan has one, but for some reason the way they did it here is off putting to me for some reason. The hair might be a tad too tall too.

The stand and energy effect definitely upped his desirability to me. Good to know he won't just be a bare bones release. Never saw that particular attack in the series but I'll take it. Looks better than the stuff they've done before

I was just thinking it would be good for teen Gohan! Doesnt really fit Ultimate Gohan but i'm grateful for more stuff in an almost completely reused release.

Yeah but you know ultimately, imo, gohan has the best transformation and kill in the entire franchise. And he's always said he never wanted to be a fighter. I'm not bothered by it. The cell climax was so unbelievably perfect, like, I kinda like him being a bit done with it. I like his peaceful nerdy character juxtaposed with his father. A third guy constantly trying to be the best would be boring. And everyone weakens if they don't train. I'm not bothered by it. Gohan had imo the best two moments in the series (yes all of goku's are below it for me). So I'm like he had his due and it fits his character, from the beginning onward. It is too bad how U gohan never really paid off, but, on my list of people not getting their due gohan isn't in the top 3.

Now my ssj2 gohan is definitely gonna get his one super effect parts buffed up display and I'm moving this gohan into my z fighter display.

Oof, never liked the Japanese voices (although I'm sure that's not a very popular opinion). It's cool to see DBZ done with more modern animation techniques, though. Does this mean there's a chance of seeing some of Frieza's other forms?
