Unless he has mad connections with tamashii theres no way of knowing

This will never happen as an sdcc cause i'd be considered a new figure so sorry guys lol

Tamashii's been doing all kinds of crazy stuff lately. Who knows what the SDCC is gonna be? I honestly doubt it's gonna be SSJ3, Cell or Krillin. They're really not THAT in need of a repaint. Some may argue against that but I feel that they're really gonna surprise us. Look at how they released at "new sculpt" in their MMPR line for SDCC. Black Ranger with a slightly changed portion.

Ive personally talked to the rep, it wont happen. Unless things have changed which it very well could it'll remain repaints. The only reason Shied Black ranger happened was because it was highly demanded by the fans. N even with that, it didnt sell that well. I feel every line is different, can u imagine a new release at SDCC?, those they arent able to get it for cost are gonna flip. Im sure they dont what pissed off diehard fans. I can careless cause im going to sdcc but im sure most that arent would hate to pay double for something thats cost, I know I would if I wasnt going.

Cost wise, a repaint would be best but eventually they're gonna run out of stuff to repaint. What will we get then? I'll buy any SDCC as long as it's not a step backwards (like manga re-paints, but that won't happen since this is Murica). To me the cost of the SDCC is always around 65-75 bucks since I can only get it from either Bluefin Premium or from eBay scalpers since I live on the East Coast and Cali is just not an option for me at the moment. I make sure to get an SDCC as soon as possible and never let it sit for too long so the price doesn't hike up. Even though I hated Arlian Vegeta at first I ended up getting one from Bluefin and it only cost $65 which is a reasonable premium to charge.

If you think about it, even if you live in San Diego, an SDCC figure costs around $100 if you count the admission to get in. In this one scenario, scalpers help us out :dunno

Once they run out of characters to repaint, maybe they'll just stop doing SDCC EX's then. It's also possible we won't even get one this year. Figuarts DBZ is doing just fine without it.

Or, perhaps they'll just decide to reissue the SSj Goku repaint, effectively kicking all the scalpers that are currently selling it for $600+ in the nuts (and making all of yous that payed that much or even a couple hundred cry, but hey, that's how the toy-collecting game works fellas)

Have they ever re-released old exclusives before with any other line? The dbz SDCC is a big thing every year, it'd be sad to see it go away. If they did re-release Goku though I'd buy the hell out of that. Oh how the scalpers will cry [emoji38]

The zero Goku was the first I believe. SDCC would be a good place to simple release a limited reissue of older figures, but iirc theu said no to that unfortunately.

I'm still hoping for the farmer with the shotgun one day. That'd be a unique exclusive.

They could always release really minor anime only characters. Maybe filler characters like Krillin's girlfriend Maron or Badman Vegeta. Yeah, I want that [emoji4]

All I know is whatever the SDCC Exclusive is, it'll probably beat Arlian Vegeta :lol there's no other troll re-paints we could get, off the top of my head

It would be pretty cool if they could manage to make a figure with articulation on the fingers. It would save them from doing extra hands, and we as collectors could pose our figures with more freedom when it comes to hands

Their D-Arts Mewtwo has articulated fingers so it's definitely possible. However I don't think they would ever consider that with any DBZ character, aside from that Shenron prototype which also had articulated fingers

I feel the same way, i dont think they will but just thinking of the endless poses with the hands i could do if fingers were articulated would be nice

Just reading thru toysforum now and people seem to have a problem with Ultimate Gohan. They're comparing his neck to a giraffe. But to some degree, I agree with them. Tamashi needs to fix Gohan's neck.

From what I have read. The zero Goku rerelease was done for the European market, because they didn't get it the first time around.

I could see them not doing anymore sdcc figures. It would stink, but there is only so much you can do.
