Their D-Arts Mewtwo has articulated fingers so it's definitely possible. However I don't think they would ever consider that with any DBZ character, aside from that Shenron prototype which also had articulated fingers

Mewtwo's articulated fingers are awful, so I'd rather not see another articulated set of fingers from Tamashii period.

You should tweet that to Tamashii, but like I said once they reveal those professional promo photos for these figures, that's it. That's the final look & that's what we'll receive.

We want more figures per year but the fear is that if they do that, then the quality might start to drop. so it's a double-edged sword

Exactly and I would sacrifice time for quality any day. This year is a pretty ****ing good year though...

Android 16, Vegito, Manga Super Saiyan Gohan re-issue, Manga Super Saiyan Goku re-issue, (SDCC Exclusive), Ultimate Gohan, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, and Golden Freiza. (That's just until October, too.)

Between 2014 and 2015 SDCC, we'll have 4 new releases rather than the past few years where we've only had 3. It will undoubtedly be higher next year, too.

Once they run out of characters to repaint, maybe they'll just stop doing SDCC EX's then. It's also possible we won't even get one this year. Figuarts DBZ is doing just fine without it.

Or, perhaps they'll just decide to reissue the SSj Goku repaint, effectively kicking all the scalpers that are currently selling it for $600+ in the nuts (and making all of yous that payed that much or even a couple hundred cry, but hey, that's how the toy-collecting game works fellas)

I've thought about that for recently and I honestly wouldn't mind seeing that happen. Specifically to kick the scalpers in the nuts though.

I just would like it the re-release of Goku Ssj 3. The Goku Ssj Manga (for me look more like anime than sdcc) so i don't care the re-release of bought... Well i don't care any other re-release... I want more and news shf like anime. Thats all...and for now i would be happy with Super Buu and Vegeta Ssj2. If they release before christmas will be nice but i think that if happen will be after �� ..... Only 1 question... When the san diego comic con?

Articulated fingers never work on figures, they always end up looking bizarre, robotic or fall apart. Swappable hands is fine as long as we get the right ones.

Meh, a statue looking better than a figure doesnt surprise me. I stick to my guns that there will be a scene in the film that looks identical to what we have sculpt wise.

Look, I concede that it isnt perfect, but I still really like how the hair looks. I stand by that it looks like Buu saga hair, but not quite RoF hair, at least not in the scenes we have seen so far.

Btw, got #16 in, and he is quite nice. Cant say im thrilled to have him, hes barebones and, well, boring if im honest [emoji38]

But at the very least his joints are tight and his arms arent nearly as prone to falling off as I had heard. Im happy, just not excited for him! [emoji14]

Yeah, I broke one finger of my Mewtwo as soon as I took him out of the box so +1 for non-articulated fingers....

I know 16 was a bare bones release. But I was very pleased with him. He's solid and the paint apps are great. But that's just me.
