I don't remember ever seeing anything from Mexico on eBay before in regards to S.H. Figuarts. Anybody else?

I have no clue, I mean guess it's an wait and see sort of thing... If not I will just buy me an extra Normal Goku and get the belt and symbols.

I'm guessing this is what Tamashii was referring to with their "It's over 8000" tweet. Maybe we'll be getting the Saiyan arc version. Still we won't have the exclusive face or Kanji. The SDCC exclusive will be announced before this events so I don't think folks need to worry right now. I'm with everyone that that the most iconic character should have a normal release, but a lot of us thought that wouldn't happen because of the regular Goku we got. All we can do is wait to see if Deano gets a response.

@angelo The Mexican channel "Out of da Box" got figures way before we did and they get a lot of Dragon Ball content before America does. Heck, they got the Battle of Gods a year before the U.S. did. Actually a lot of countries did.

This their channel for those who don't know:

No, don't say that! Nappa lives!

I understand that. I'm not questioning why they're getting an exclusive at all. I'm questioning why they're getting THIS exclusive.

The event is early June and the SDCC is not annouced until the third week of June. SDCC Vegeta was announced on June 20,2014.SDCC Gohan was announced in May 2012.Piccolo was annouced June 22,2013.

@psycho Thanks for the correction! I guess I was just thinking about SDCC Gohan, because my mind went to May. Well, like I said, let's see what response Deano gets. We could all let them know, but surely they can't be oblivious to this? It's just like they know we all want Vegeta. Hopefully they'll make Battle Damaged Namek Goku a regular release.

@angelo I didn't see the "ebay" part of your post! I agree with you. I think we're all confused. I wouldn't give up hope on Nappa because of how popular that scene is.

Either this is an insanely short run or they're going to sell this elsewhere after the event...

"I bought my ticket to the event this guarantees that I can buy the exclusive product of Tamashii Nations?

No, because the quantities of the product are limited and purchase your ticket only guarantees your ticket to the event. To buy the exclusive product of the event is necessary to obtain a special ticket , details of how to get it is published in the " Product Exclusive " section of this site on May 25 and the sale of the product will be limited to only 1 per customer the figure will only be on sale during the two day event."

Edited: That's actually a smart idea to keep the product out of the hands of scalpers and the aftermarket.

well if all of you buy it as soon as it becomes available then you guys shouldnt have to worry about the scalpers & after-market prices

calling it right now, next year's SDCC will be this

I know, it's frustrating. I'm hoping for the best that they will be available after the convention but I've already come to the conclusion that I won't be getting one of these with the way it's going. Unless somebody brings 100+ friends (edited: who don't like Dragon Ball Z) and get the special tickets, these will be more rare on the aftermarket than SDCC Goku. Which is frightening just thinking about that.

i have faith, i'm sure it'll be available on some website & people will snatch it up!

Man I just....I have no words for this...like, everyone's hit the nail on the head. The exclusive face (if it's a smirk, this is a giant FU to all of us...) is the icing on the cake though. I honestly thought this might be a Tamashii Nations exclusive, like the Original Anime Color Sailor Moon, it'd make more sense! But this...why?

The worst part is, if we don't get an international release, that kills a lot of hope for the line. It really does. I'm also not sure whether or not to hope this is the SDCC; that'll mean we can get it, but that'll mean we're sort of short changed, and that Tamashii MAY take the easy way out for SDCC from here on. That said...if this comes through, internationally, re-tools of existing figures WOULD be great. Long hair Trunks and Freiza Saga Vegeta(s). But atm...god damn it Tamashii.

That's all I Can really ay. And Bane, good eye on the 8000 part. I really hope this means we still get a Nappa, and this isn't the only figure from that tweet.

I agree. If this exclusive is only released through the Mexican distributors, this will set a horrible precedent for the future of this line.

Edited: This won't be released until June so hopefully, at least by then, Tamashii will make a statement about it regarding other collectors. I honestly wouldn't mind if we get a Manga version of the figure. Just as long as we have that opportunity.

Nice to know Tamashii knows the actual quote its been wrong for years think they finally got it right in Dbz Kai.

So this is going to be a lottery system too? It's going to be a heck of a lot on the aftermarket. Is it kind of like how they released SSJ Vegeta and Trunks last year for Japan's lottery? I'm not paying any mark up prices. I hope that the SDCC figure will make a lot of people happy like you were told Angelo. If I remember correctly, Pawnstar said we'd love last years and many of us were disappointed. I would have taken yellow sweater Vegeta over that! Like I said, I'd buy any Goku and Vegeta, but wasn't Vegeta as far as I am concerned. I can't be any more crushed then last year. I was just so confident that we were getting some sort of SSJ Vegeta.

I would buy that SDCC in heartbeat, Crisis!

Well, what's even more interesting, is that I mentioned to the Bluefin associate that they're running low on Manga-to-Anime repaints and he reassured me that Tamashii is well aware of that. Then this shows up. Unless we hear back through Deano, Bluefin is going to be at a convention in Chicago again called Anime something so I may purposely go just to get a response from them.
