Honestly, it would have made sense for him to be a Tamashii Nations exclusive like the original animation color Sailor Moon, since she too has an exclusive face, her mold is slightly different (being re-made for the updated articulation for the rest of the scouts), and her colors are far different too.

Ok so I bought an DBZ Sh Figuarts Trunks from this guy on an facebook group. First he tells me he will ship it last Tuesday, then Friday. Now supposedly he's shipping today but I've yet to get any tracking number. How much longer should I wait before I file an dispute? I paid on May 04th.

What they made is perfectly acceptable for an event exclusive due to the inevitable belt/torso problems. A Saiyan/Namek Goku should really have a new torso mold to properly accommodate the belt. This would be the ideal design, similar to what they did on Krillin. I'm fairly certain this will never be made but you never know, if the demand remains (and this image gets passed around) we may very well see this come out as a web exclusive one day.

Not that great from what I read. Next time I will do more research for sure... He's supposely refunding me....

I like that figure quite a lot. If they have a new torso mold, I feel the blue undershirt shouldn't have as much showing and bring the "v" of the gi higher. Although, the picture of that figure fits the picture in the image. Damn new artistic style! (It has its moments and its disadvantages.)

They're not gonna make manga repaints for sdcc, fully convinced of that.

Now that they've given an event exclusive a bonus accessory, I think that might be the route they're gonna take. Not trying to raise too much hope here but imo a ssj cell saga vegeta with the right boottips and 1 extra face doesn't seem at all against the options now... If they're gonna make a retooled goku as an event exclusive there's like no excuse anymore. They can't hide behind 'well japan will want that too' anymore, how the frig wouldn't japan want mexigoku?

They've set a new precedent of giving an exclusive accessory at an event exclusive now too for this line... Tbh I can't imagine them giving anything less to sdcc. I also wouldn't put it beyond option to get an anime repaint for vegito (although then probably next year).

Mexigoku has opened so many doors for possibilities... Often the reveal is in June so...

**** it, they should just repaint the web exclusive Trunks into Manga Trunks. (edited: as its own web exclusive) Aren't they doing something similar with the Digimon figures?

I'd be happy with Armored Trunks.

This 100000 times over Manga Trunks. Anime Trunks is so much better looking imo. Armored Trunks would satisfy people that want a Trunks and people that already have Trunks.

That seems like a legit line-up. I'd probably add Nappa and First Form Frieza in there as well. With this whole Namek Goku thing, I'm guessing we'll see First Form Frieza soon and Nappa has been a long time coming.

I agree about Nappa. I was thinking he may take a similar release slot to Broly for next year. (edited: That seems too far if they reveal him at SDCC, doesn't it?) The entire line-up may change once SDCC comes along. Hopefully not the first four releases though.

Very questionable on First Form Frieza though especially after Golden Frieza's release. If Namek Goku is released, he'll fit perfectly with Final Form Frieza.

I would really like for Tamashii to release Gotenks absorbed Super Buu and Gohan absorbed Super Buu back-to-back similar to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku and Golden Frieza. (I'm hoping those releases will be used as a test.) It would be strange for them to do it so close to each other but I think it would work out very well. Maybe a similar situation with Goten and Trunks or Goten/Trunks and Gotenks, too.
