According to DB Wiki:

Super Saiyan God SS is the result of a Saiyan gaining the power of Super Saiyan God and then transforming into a Super Saiyan

What this means is once a Saiyan attains God form and absorbs it within themselves, whenever they transform Super Saiyan, they have blue hair instead of yellow. Similar to how Gohan can't go yellow hair anymore once achieving Ultimate Gohan state.

Once you go god, you never go back.

But Gohan can go yellow he goes SSJ in ROF.... My guess is this is either first couple episodes before or ROF or something. We'll find out once the manga gets this week for sure.

It was never stated when Super would take place all has been said is a few years after the defeat of Buu. And since King Kai has his car/planet it is after BOG for sure... And this could just be the first couple episodes... The 1st couple chapters of the manga comes out this week. So lets not jump to the gun as that was just an Teaser.

Yeah, I'm just trying to make sense of what I've seen so far. I'm guessing the first few episodes (or maybe just a few minutes of the first) take place before and then there's a time skip or something to today's events. We'll find out the truth soon enough.

First episode might be a Post-Kid Buu-Pre-RF recap showing Goku and Vegeta departing to train with Whis, Vegeta becoming a god, ect.
That would explain why Vegeta has his blue jumpsuit and why Goku's hair still turns yellow.

Yay but goku wasn't going god. You literally just contradicted yourself by saying they have to go God first, than go super Saiyan. Goku didn't go god first. Also gohan can still go super Saiyan, plus most of wiki on every type of wiki is written by fans. I could go to wiki any day and say "vegeta's a weak beitch" and it would be there for a couple of days.

I didn't contradict myself though. Once a Saiyan has tasted the god form and has transformed into God (only once), the next time he turns SSJ, he gets blue hair instead of yellow. Can anyone that's watched RoF and/or read the manga confirm any of this? It's getting confusing.

Everything we've seen from Gohan for the new movie shows his hair relaxed until he turns super saiyan. What we see in the trailer is still standing like it was in The Buu arc and BoG.

Yeah he did, but that could be attributed to Toriyama's forgetfulness. According to where Dragon Ball left off before BoG, Ultimate Gohan couldn't go Super Saiyan anymore. His appearance shouldn't change.

Gohan states in RoF that he can't go mystic any more and what you're saying about going Ssgss once is just your opinion.

(Edit) he also went ssj in battle of gods and to add to that in RoF he actually didn't even know if he could still go super Saiyan.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. The Vegeta scene looks to be after, but who knows. I just think it's a mixture of two different time periods hence all the inconsistencies with hair color, hair/no hair, ages, etc.

I don't know if I'm saying it wrong, but I'll try again. It's not opinion, it's based on facts presented in the current movies. I wouldn't argue this if it was just my opinion. It's based of what I know to be true.

A Saiyan can't have blue hair unless they first unlock the SSGod transformation.
When the SSGod transformation has been unlocked, when a Saiyan turns Super Saiyan from that point on, their hair is blue instead of yellow.

Basically, SSGSS is a Super Saiyan transformation with the power of a Super Saiyan God.

Goku actually does go Super Saiyan (yellow) at the end of BoG, but this is because he hasn't mastered the God form yet. When it's mastered, his hair becomes blue.

About Gohan losing his Ultimate form, I guess that's possible. Without training, he becomes weaker and loses power. That explains why he goes Super Saiyan instead of Ultimate.

I'm not making anything up man. I'm not trying to argue dude, I'm simply stating what is known fact as of this movie. I don't know how he'd look as an SSGSS3 since that's never been shown before.

SSGSS is a Saiyan going Super Saiyan after having mastered the Super Saiyan God. That's it.

Can Goku/Vegeta de-colorize their hair back to yellow cuz they don't like how blue looks? From what I know, they can't.

It wouldn't make sense if they couldn't, you were basically saying they can't become regular super Saiyans anymore and only become gods. Which the movies has never been stated. Just because they can go super Saiyan as gods doesn't mean regular non-god super Saiyan in unachievable now. But you are right. Now point to argue, we'll just have to find out when super comes out. On s new note does anyone plan to see RoF on opening day?
