I'm really curious if they are retconning the ending with Uub in Kai or what. The whole Goten/Trunks not growing up in the teaser we saw flies in the face of the ending of Kai and the tournament. Unless Super is going to either encapsulate the ending of Z into itself, or take place entirely before the ending of Z.

I saw some story boards of the DBZ Kai ending, they are retconning the ending of Kai so the uub thing never happens.

I think the whole "Saiyans look like 8 year olds until they're 19"* excuse is extremely lazy & dumb at this point in the game. The truth is, Toriyama & them just wanna keep Goten & Trunks as kids because that's their most "iconic" look & they wanna keep em cute & silly for as long as possible & don't wanna make them grow the f up, like they should

Case in point:

Although, you could say full Saiyans age slower than hybrids. Thinking about it rationally (not a good idea for Dragon Ball, I know), the more human you have, the faster you should age since Saiyans age slower and stay younger for longer.

Anyway yeah I agree but on the other hand you can't start with endgame material, perhaps over this series they will grow up? That'd be kindof cool imo. Unless when they're grown up they reach an ultimate form only to be used for 2 episodes and then be taken out of the action....

Also GT isn't going to happen if it did everything would be f'ed up. I mean wouldn't Goku go god in GT and wouldn't Beerus at least be mentioned?

Uh I think Shonen means beerus SHOULD have been mentioned in GT. There's too much of significance that happens for it not to be mentioned in GT ergo GT can't remain in any canon form. Not that it ever was. But I agree with Shonen, more and more the two are becoming incompatible.
