Not that I don't believe you, but well, I don't believe you. Where did you see these? I guess it's only a week until that episode plays and we see for sure, but if Uub is not showing up in Kai, why is he in the recent outtro?

Or rather, who the heck is this then:

Toriyama took it upon himself to retcon/alter Goku's origin so I wouldn't be surprised if he does the same with the Boo Saga epilogue

But people like to pick & choose what they want to believe anyway, so why should it matter.

Yeah, canonicity is overrated. I personally believe DBZ ended with Vegeta crushing Goku and afterward flying of into the sunset with Chi Chi, Bulma, and 18 on Icarus while screaming "I am the Prince of All Bitches!" while waving around Trunk's sword with Yamcha's decapitated head on the end of it. That's just me though.

That may be some of the best head canon I've ever read. There are a few die hard people that still refer to Bulma as Blooma, because it's SUPPOSED to be a pun on Bloomers, to go with the rest of the Briefs family, yet Toriyama messed up the english word supposedly and that's how he wrote Bulma. It was in his art so it stuck.

@shadow3fade, here's a link to the announcement for the Yamcha statue I was referring to:

Dragon Ball Failure Meme in Collectible Form

Really does say a lot about what the world thinks of the poor guy. Relegated to a statue of his own corpse.
Im surprise that a statue was actually made for Yamcha in that moment of his epic failure. With that said, I'm even more thrown back to the amount of detail that was implanted into its sculpt.
Bigbadtoystore.com I ordered mine on the 7th so I'm still waiting though

Unlock your inner Z fighter
Thanks, im so on it. The problem is that bbts requires some sort of a contact to the customer services department in order to make a different kind of payment, not a credit card one. So ill be waiting till they contact me on Monday.
Uub is actually a thing in Super? Is this confirmed? Swear to god im going to go monkey **** crazy if its so. Uncannon character or not uub is the real deal. Dont want to hear a word from noncannon haters. Hear! Jk ,speak up..

Go make one those fan fiction stories already. Im sure you can compel a most interesting story. Either ways, ill read it. I have crap else to do today besides hoover around the net looking for that mexigoku confirmation for the sdcc.

Did you get Arlian Vegeta? He's kind of an irrelevant color variation though [emoji38]
Hahaha I did, but I don't consider it irrelevant only because there's a reason for it. That was suppose to have been the color for it and the later altered the anime and we got what we now love. So pretty cool significance. But manga vs anime is not relavent to me cause I never read the manga so have no attachment to it

Well Uub is a Manga character, so I highly doubt he would be ret-conned out, but Toriyama did change Goku's head trauma origin in Jaco, so it COULD have happened, though extremely unlikely.

I wouldn't doubt he'd be out and about in Super. Even if it's just for cameo time.

Also did I miss that other post? Was the Yamcha statue up on BBTS? I can't seem to find it now.

E: He wasn't talking about the Yamcha statue, but rather Gohan, my bad.

Uub won't get retconned, at least as DBKai is concerned. As you said, he's in the original manga and Kai follows the manga. It has no significance on DBS so I wouldn't see why they'd stop their accuracy at the final episode.

Can Uub be retconned through DBS? Yes, but we don't know that yet. We know practically nothing about Super except that there will be an enemy greater than Frieza and Buu (duh) and that it should (not including flashbacks and such) take place after RoF. If the ending to DBZ does get changed, I hope its satisfying. I'll be honest, the original Z ending wasn't the best and the GT ending was much more satisfying to the series as a whole imo. I'd prefer for the sake of continuity that the original ending remains unchanged (mostly).

I consider Arlian Vegeta as simply Vegeta's traveling attire while journeying through space. When he approaches Earth, he decides to simply swap outfits for a more traditional Saiyan Armor and Vegeta washes his dirty hair from brown to black. Makes sense to me :lol

I hate the manga versions and don't collect em and never will. I grew up with the anime and have actually never read the manga. As long as it's been in the anime, I'm getting whatever Tamashii throws at us.

I think at best, Uub will just be absent from most if not all of the action, similar to how Goten & Trunks were completely absent from RoF. He'll be mentioned, sure, but they'll too give him a lame excuse as to why he can't, or shouldn't, participate in the battle. Go figure.

I think DBS is just gonna take place in between the final battle with Buu and the end of DBZ. Uub might be hinted at here and there but they won't meet until the tournament as it should be probably near the last episodes of the series. That would maintain continuity and still allow for plenty of stuff to take place in the series. If I remember correctly, Goku never went SSJ at the tournament when fighting Uub anyway so SSGSS doesn't conflict with the ending either. As of now, the DBZ ending still stands.

Or...they could go past end of DBZ, rewrite the entire ending completely and effectively cut into where GT would occur (if it was canon, which it isn't).

I would be really disappointed if they put the entire story of Super in between the destruction of Buu and the tournament. I mean there are years there, but still. Feels like no real progress will be made with the series then. On top of that, the ending of Z kind of sucked, as it's been said before.

THANK YOU! I was reading all this bull**** about weather or not Uub would be in Super, and my brain almost exploded. Frieza returns 5 years after the final battle with Buu. The End of Z episode takes place TEN full years after the final battle with Buu. Everything we see from here on out happens between that time frame. Uub won't even be a thing until Toriyama decides to go past it.

Well, we'll have to wait and see won't we. Speculating is fine, but I wouldn't start fearing it and stressing over it. Toriyama will tell the story he has planned for the first arc and THEN we can start trying to figure out what happens next. Anything could happen at this point. There are sooooo many possibilities now. I can't wait to see what he does.

Well after the events of Resurrection Freezer, I think there's only 2 or 3 years left before the tournament/buu epilogue. So unless the entirety of DBSuper happens during those 3 years then they would have no choice but to go beyond that point in time

It's still a good five years worth of stuff. I'm not expecting this series to be of the scale DBZ was in terms of time span so 5 years should be more than enough time to fit in some good stories. Plus, there's always the stuff between the battle with Buu and BoG too before Goku went God. That could explain why we see him powering up to SSJ instead of SSGSS. If Toriyama decides to continue past end of Z, he could do that too. Nothing stopping him if he wanted. Even if GT was considered canon, Toriyama has no problem with overlapping stories and rewriting canon as we've seen with Dragon Ball Minus.

Yeah, this is why I pause. But I mean, it's less than a month out at this point, I'm just super pumped.
