Weren't Trunks and Vegeta both Ascended Super Saiyans? Goku achieved it in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber but knew how disadvantageous it was where there had to be another level past that which is what he saw in Gohan.

It is its own thing. Trunks, Vegeta, etc. were considered "ascended" after training in the Room of Spirit & Time. Back in the day people would call it "Ultra Super Saiyajin" or whatever. Gohan was the first to achieve the true form, which is SSj2.

Yeah, you just made that up dude. Never even heard anyone say that. Unless the dub you've seen is different. I know there's a lot of different dubs that have different dialogue throughout the years.

Not to continue this but shonen1234, you need to read more carefully. People are saying that Ascended SS is a specific term, while when Goku says he has 'ascended beyond SS' he is not actually saying he's becoming a Ascended SS, but rather that he has risen above the original SS form.

If English is your second language or something I apologize. It is a very complicated language and is ridiculously difficult to learn.

You're not "wrong," just misinformed. I understand people interpret things in different ways, so it's hard for you to understand what everyone else is saying when you think you're right therefore we must all be wrong.

The whole thing is pretty vague, but to me ascended saiyan is the buff ssj form, ssj2 is its own thing. If it wasnt, that form wouldnt have a name.
