I think we'll have it (sooner or later) as "Advanced colours".

Yeah, if there's any other figures that have high demand for re-release AND a repaint, it's SSJ3 Goku. I have no doubt that we'll see an Advanced Color version of him. If not, there's the possibility of BoG SSJ3 Goku. All they gotta do is swap belts on this Namek Goku and plop on the SSJ3 head.

RKenshinH, SDCC is just that, an exclusive. You give more than one per year all of a sudden we have too many to go after that will NOT have easy ways to get a hold of them. Now, can you drop it man?

We get you want loads of figures, we all do, but these arent mass produced, they need time to be made.

Aside from DBZ, I hope Tamashii reveals a new license they acquired for S.H. Figuarts. Street Fighter would be a dream come true but I would settle for Tekken or Soul Calibur, maybe even Devil May Cry ^^

Now that I think about it, Street Fighter is one of the few franchises that can truly rival the popularity & exclusiveness of Figuarts DBZ. It has the loyal fanbase, a huge roster of characters, many awesome designs. They need to make this happen.

This is not good for this years SDCC guys.... From Alex:

Fyi just got word Exclusive will be hard to get for Sdcc via limits or something. **** got real

what? i not understand! more simply english

"...years SDCC guys..."????
"Fyi just got word exclusive will be hard to get for sdcc via limits or something. **** got real"????

i understand three things:

First-> this is the last sdcc ever release.

Second->that someone die.

Third-> something like its a limit release or what a H3//

So, more simply please!^^,

So there is a chance that CCXP in December will also have a limited namek Goku... but with a brazilian box instead...

WTH I never said it was the last SDCC... I said that Alex said that the SDCC Goku will be LIMITED per person unlike previous years.

Yeah, that's the most likely interpretation.

Probably just means people won't be able to walk out with crates full of Goku's like all the other years. Shouldn't affect prices on eBay though and there's always Bluefin Premium if scalpers go crazy.

which would make SDCC limits incredible news. Now I'm hoping Bluefin does end up with a lot of stock.

That's actually great for Bluefin and since they make more money AND it gives non SDCC goers more chances to get them for reasonable prices. Instead of selling a majority of figures at the event for retail price, they sell it for the premium price through their site. Good for them and good for us! :yess:

Yeah, I think Alex is just overreacting. SDCC has always been limited, but as others have said, its probably just limiting people like Alex who go in, buy up an entire days worth of stock and resell it. Thats why Vegeta last year shot up in price; there werent any left, scalpers grabbed loads of him.

It wouldnt be an exclusive if web stores could all just grab them up would it? I think he was just expecting to be able to waltz in and snap up crates of Goku [emoji38]

As for RKenshinH.......

The thing is, in all previous years, even though people bought them without limits, there was still enough surplus for online retailers. The only reasons I can think of is that less were produced, which imo doesnt make much sense financially, or they plan on saving extras for something later on.

Being someone who's never attended sdcc, that makes alot of sense.

I was at SDCC last year. Trust me, there was PLENTY of Arlia Vegeta to go around. He was pretty much stocked the ENTIRE Con so good on Tamashii for keeping up with the demand. If anyone went and was willing to wait in one of the SHORTEST Exclusive lines, you had absolutely NO problem getting multiples of Vegeta if you wanted more than one.

But yes, people/scalpers were walking away with whole boxes full of him and the other Bluefin/Tamashii Exclusives (Armored Black Ranger, etc.). Bluefin/Tamashii had a limit on sales on Preview Night (Wednesday Night) and then lifted it as the other days went on.

Maybe this year they're just not making as much. I honestly would prefer if Bluefin went the Sideshow route and just began offering their Exclusives online. One main reason Sideshow did that was because SDCC became a miserable experience for their staff, and unfortunately...you can see the same with the Bluefin staff. It wasn't "fun" for them to sit there and sell Exclusives (and other Tamashii stuff) all day.

They might be going the bandai route, which is to have timed ticketed lines and 1 per person limits. Will be a major pain if they do that.
