The Red Ribbon army wouldn't even exist in that world. What if, Bardock killed Frieza after becoming a SSJ and the Saiyans were still alive in that universe?

No, I think they existed already before Goku met Bulma. But man, if Bardock actually became an SSJ when alive. What if Raditz was able to follow suit and become a super saiyan? Or Nappa?

So I did a photoshop and hopefully Trunks comes out to close this size... I still don't get why they put those clear things on Goku's feet when Trunks nor Buu have them..

They probably wanted to stimulate Goku floating in the air, but it's really poorly done. Probably the worst aspect of the statue IMO. But the photo shop looks accurate, nice work!

While the concept of "mirror" universes is neat, personally, I would hope Toriyama & his team has come up with something more creative than that. That idea has been done already as previously mentioned, and is already highly predictable (all of the DBZ movies are essentially "what-if" stories). I don't wanna see 11 other versions of Goku or Vegeta. Just a bunch of "what-if" timelines.

If another single neighboring universe is a mirror "bizarro" version of the Z-Warriors universe then fine, that's cool. But ALL of them? Come on.

Toriyama says himself in that interview we just read that Super fits INTO the inbetweens of the two movies, that in itself tells me there will be no retcon, that just doesnt make sense.

Okay thats the text Snake put up here, but I took that as meaning it just involves the period and the movies become essentially two enormous episodes from it, and then it continues... Especially regarding RoF that makes huge sense. And although weird, it is refreshing narratively.

It would be interesting if the Super Saiyan Gods were to fight alternate universe gods like Jesus and the true Satan (not Mr. Satan) Of course, they could change their names to avoid outrage, maybe call them Christopher and turn Satan into a female named Lucille, and make them two gods fighting for the faith of their universe. Then the reason why they have Super Dragonballs is that since people and aliens are divided about who to worship, Christopher and Lucille created the balls and they have decided to leave it up to the ability of those with wishes/prayers to hunt the Super Dragonballs to make their wishes come true on their own, at least until either Christopher or Lucille clearly wins. Then the Dragonball team enters their universe to mess things up hehe

I wish I were one of you lol. And yeah I know he's a normal release and all that but it just feels good securing an order as soon as it's available to order.
So tomorrow (July 2nd) we can expect sites in the US to have him up? As well as Vajeetus?

Yeah, the movies seem like they were always intended to be "specials", feature length episodes to Super by toriyama in a similar way the history of Trunks was.

I think a retcon would make since because there's still no explanation to the seen with beerus and whis. Maybe beerus had dreamt about him dreaming about the super saiyan God. Because when beerus tells whis about the ssj God it's in a completely different seen with beerus in his pj's.

While one universe with evil counterparts would be fine for a saga, I too don't wanna see ALL of them turn out that way. I wanna see different species with crazy powers and not just basic redesigns of existing characters. I wouldn't mind if they actually turned a few of the movies canon and included some of the villains in the series. Hell, if they want they could make the Z-Fighters travel to the GT universe. I for one would die to see SSGSS fight SSJ4 as fanfic as that sounds.

Don't get it, beerus switched clothes and went into the dining room...? Don't get what needs explanation about that. It's 'scene' btw.



I don't know, I find it odd that both beerus and whis have a same-type counterpart... I really hope that's only the case for universe 6 and 7. But Toriyama did say he had a ton of new designs to make so I REALLY look forward to that.

That scene could quite easily be before he went to sleep 37 years prior. For all we know Toriyama wants to tell the story of how Beerus learned of the ssj god. Just because its in the same manga doesnt mean it takes place at the same time, dbz had alot of flashbacks too.

Battle of gods takes place 4 years after the end of the buu saga. Super is 6 months after. And there's no prove that the seen where beerus destroys that planet in the final part of super chapter 1 is a flash back.

Edit: my bad BoG it takes place 5 years after buu saga.
