It seems that DB Super will introduce a lot of new characters. I hope Bandai doesn't forget about the classic ones.

The first version was good, but I am guessing it suffers from the arm popping out issue that plagued the sdcc version. Most likely mold degradation because of how slim the joints are.

I got my 2 gohans from bbts like a month ago.

Thanks Deano. I'll look out for that when I get him.

Rb I've gotten this answer about 10 times now

Black series is Ok, but apart from Luke and Vader i havent really felt the need to get any. I think I will wait for bandais inevitable model kit for the ep 7 stormtrooper, really enjoyed making their other one.

One thing I like about the Black Series is the wide variety of characters they have, namely the Stormtrooper variations. For now I'm just using the Black Series to fill in the gaps for characters I don't have. If Tamashii ends up taking over, I wouldn't mind at all since Bandai quality and articulation is FAR superior to Hasbro. Off topic, but what the hell :wink1:

There's a reason it's called Big BAD Toy Store :lol

Sorry if anyone likes em, but I've been burned too many times by them and they're hardly the best online retailer. Overrated as hell imo.

If it's any consolation, Anime Island had some delays as well so BBTS might be experiencing the same.

True, but imo the model kit is actually superior to the figuarts one. I was honestly expecting the figuarts to almost be identical since they are both bandai, and the joints do look like figuarts joints, but the figuarts just doesnt look as good to me for once!

Yep! But like bardoon said I'll just have to be patient. (Seems like that's one of the biggest down sides on collecting)

Also @prod lol yep! It surprises me that they are so recommended by so meany big name youtubers seeing how bad they are.

I feel like they're the most mainstream online toy shop. They're a safe recommendation but not always the cheapest. Anime Island, MH Toy, ToyzintheBox, are just a few that are typically cheaper and better overall but not as well known to the average collector.

Hey guys, I wonder could you let me know what are the market selling prices for the 2011 SDCC exclusive super saiyan goku?

I listed a brand new one on ebay today. Some ebay punk messaged me within minutes, saying my item was over priced and "expired" and kept pestering me for my lowest price. I checked his seller name, and I saw on amazon he was actually selling a 2011 SDCC goku for $1500 on amazon.

The most recent news I was able to find was in March 2015 of this year:

5 Extremely Valuable Dragon Ball Action Figures – Part 1 | DBZ Figures.com

The website is saying the figure goes for over $900? Or has the pricing gone even higher??

That site seems to list the highest it's ever sold for. Right now checking eBay, people (scalpers) are pricing it over $900 but looking at listings that have sold, it sells for $400-500. That guy that messaged you is a scalping a**hole and charging $1500 is ridiculous. Hope that helps :monkey3

If I can give some advice? Dont sell it at scalper prices, if you do you will be no better than the moron that messaged you. Those prices are ridiculous and tempting, yes, but give buyers a chance to actually choose what they want to pay. If they are silly enough to allow it rise to those prices then thats on them. But putting it on at $500+ isnt giving anyone a chance except those willing to sell a car for it :lol

FTR I own sdcc Goku, so that isnt for me in the slightest, we just really aren't fans of scalpers and what they are trying to do to the line.

I wonder if scalping goes on for Hello Kitty merchandise lol :) Fans of other series that aren't too popular must be lucky. They can buy their beloved toys at non-insane prices and have a completed line at decent prices. "Here, SDCC 2015 Exclusive Hello Kitty Hairpin, only $500!!!" haha :)

I just recently purchased a Rement "Big Skeleton" toy from the Pose Skeleton series (still waiting for it to arrive, damn EMS without tracking number). From what I've seen, it's a highly articulated skeleton toy. It actually has a skeleton family lol! There's a mom, there's a child, there's even a skeleton dog! Then you can buy all sorts of accessories for them like a toilet, bazookas, dinner table, coffins with scythes, crutches, and all sorts of wacky stuff! You can have them all for like $60 because they're just $5 to $7 each.

I like this post, well said Deano. I myself have SDCC Goku and was able to buy it close to retail and I actually still have him mint in box. When the time comes that I get bored of my figures I'm going to sell all my figures at retail and let someone else enjoy them as much as I did.
