Shonen; Rhymestlye, Thundershot, Quaman etc all know exactly what we do, they are just jumping on the hype train trying to come up with ideas. Toriyama himself already said Super would take place inbetween the films. I like Rhymestyle and Thundershot, but I will believe the creator first, thanks!
Until I specifically watch episodes the retell the films stories i will continue to believe that Toriyama would not be stupid enough to retcon brand new films, specifically RoF since its literally JUST out.

Yeah but I never know if they realise that we get to see what they display at japanese events. Also, technically we already had a surprise with the exclusive.
I dunno, I hope to see protos, I'm just not 100% convinced we will.

In today's age, the moment something is shown, it pops up on the internet. I'm sure they're well aware that practically everyone knows the new stuff they've been displaying all over the world. They always unveil new stuff at SDCC anyways and it's only the largest geek convention in the world so it'd be dumb for them to not show us SOMETHING. I'm 99.9% sure we'll see something new there, we just have to! I personally think we'll see Armored Nappa and perhaps some more Buu Saga stuff. Even if they're unpainted prototypes, it'd be something

Yeah I agree each year they have shown something new..(2014 SSJ4Goku,2013 Androids,ect)
There are positives & negatives to having either an armored or unarmored Napper.
If armored, then it will blend in well with Scouter Vegeta. It will also become a candidate for next year's SDCC EX repaint (Arlia colors)
However, if he comes armored, we will be unable to faithfully recreate the "it's over 9000!!" scene. He NEEDS to be half-naked for this to happen, no debate. Half-naked.

It's hard enough to have to shell out all this money for the figures. A two pack would make it even worse. Plus what if nappas a web exclusive? That's like Christmas x2 for scalpers.

Sorry but I highly doubt there would be any snap on anything with these figures. These are high quality, highly articulated figures. These are not the cheap, old super battle collection days, snap on would hinder the articulation of a otherwise quality figure. It would need to be a part of the mold of the figure itself like any of the vegeta's that have been released thus far.

If anyone could figure it out, it's Tamashii, but I HIGHLY doubt we'll ever see snap-on with Figuarts. They could've debuted something like that with Awakened Goku so we could get both of his forms, but they didn't. As for Nappa, they could just as easily release a battle damaged version of him later on. They could that with practically every figure if they wanted to! Since battle damaged Goku IS gonna sell amazingly, it may convince to do a separate battle damaged line altogether. Yeah, let's do that
