I'm just sitting here glued to my laptop and if I need to get up to walk around, I'm glued to my phone. Really excited so far with the Naruto figures and the Thunderzord. Just waiting on that Dragon Ball stuff anytime now...

I was predicting that the DBZ showing wouldn't have anything new. Like I said, Tamashii has shown A LOT already and many prototypes with no defined release dates.

Naruto's dada is slated for a January 2016 release in Japan. But sdcc is the first venue that revealed the actual figure.

Yeah, they have quite a lot revealed that would give them enough for at least 3/4 of a year. They just need to officially announce them. (Especially Super Saiyan 4 Goku! )

It wouldn't hurt to show something that would get the fan base going all crazy excited though.

Tbh, I haven't even seen Naruto I plan on watching it now though. I almost got a Naruto the other day at a local comic store as an incentive to start watching it. It's supposed to be similar to DBZ and people either say it's really good or really bad. I'll make that decision when I watch it.

It's not the first time figures have made me start watching a show though. MMPR, Sailor Moon, Queen's Blade, are just a few that I started watching/re-watching cuz I liked the figures.

It's only preview night, they'll reveal the good stuff later.

I do, too. I've been tempted to get into the line because they look pretty cool and then start watching the series. I'm afraid if I start the show later and really like, the figures would be difficult to buy.

I remember MMPR when I was a kid. I used to watch the television show all the time but I don't think I watched much after the movie. I just recently got into the line. That was probably a mistake.

I hope so. It seems Vegeta is keeping that hair sculpt. Not too happy about that.

Vegeta is coming out in December in Japan and North America?

Holy ****, that shading on Super Saiyan Goku's hair is ****ing awesome.

I'm tempted to buy extra Awakened Super Warrior figures just to change the hair (and faces) for my Manga Super Saiyan Goku figures.

I really don't like Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta's head. Mostly the hair and the color. The face looks spot on though. The hair just doesn't look good to me. Do him and Goku have the same hair color? Does anybody else see detail on his boot tips or is it just me?

I still think SSGSS Goku's hair ISN'T metallic like Vegeta's. They better not have one metallic and other not, cuz that's sloppy. Hopefully, they'll unveil an updated hair sculpt for Vegeta at a later date. Now that I think about it though, it may just be the same hair because if they're gonna include a regular Vegeta head, it's gonna be the old sculpt unless they now wanna start differentiating between normal and SSJ Vegeta. All the other Vegeta's have the same hair sculpt, only painted yellow or black.

Wow, I didn't even catch that! That's a brilliant idea.

I do, too. Just...ANYTHING. I don't care if its an early stage prototype and looks ridiculous. I just want to see something new.

Just secured two SDCC Goku's from a cool guy on Ageless Geeks. 90 shipped (each), which is cheaper than the current scalper's rate, so I think I got a decent deal.

I'm indifferent about the Resurrection F Goku at the moment. I really like the darker colors on that because it stands out more. I may need to request Orbital Frame to make an accurate edition and post it to see what it would look like.

I equalize the official image of Ultime Son Gohan (based in the Goku figure) and painted the Anime figure with the colors of the exclusive, here the results:

Yeah, the minor things that I thought could have been done better on Manga Super Saiyan Goku have been done better with this release. I think it's great that a future release can compliment a past release like that. It doesn't appear to be. I'm actually digging the metallic color but the hair sculpt for Vegeta just doesn't work well with it. I would really like to see that color on the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku or at least the same hair paint application to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta. We need consistency! Especially with those two.

Well, there's really no reason why they didn't create a new hair sculpt for Vegeta. I mean it's not that ****ing difficult. Hell, they gave Android 16 some striations in his hair sculpt and he has a damn mohawk. Why can't Vegeta get that same treatment? I'm sounding like a complainer but that just upsets me. Especially since that hair mold could be used for a Buu Saga Vegeta. I would flip a ****ing **** if they release a Buu Saga Super Saiyan/Majin Vegeta with the same ****ing hair sculpt. No ****ing way.

I really don't understand it. It's not like his hair in the animation has no striations/detail to it. It's not that difficult to do. They did it on the Figuarts Zero Super Vegeta. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody new that makes decisions at Tamashii hates Vegeta.

Not to mean to get off topic but how are Play Arts Kai figures? They any good?
