It makes no sense that they won't bother to update it. By giving him a new hair mold, they can always reuse it for SS2/Majin. So I don't understand why they won't.

Exactly! I for one think they could use the old hair sculpt for Cell Saga and before and then use an updated one for Buu Saga and onwards. It would be cool and would reflect the change in the art style as well, plus allowing consistency between the Sagas. Wouldn't make sense to have Namek Vegeta with super striated and updated hair, now would it? Like Nike says, JUST DO IT!

They're popping up on ebay for no cheaper than $120. I think it's still too early to tell whether they'll be listed at retail price. But what I do know is, people are gonna jump on these fast, and sellers are going to take full advantage of that. And we all know what happens if we wait too long.

Btw guys, I assume you realise toyarc always has huge great galleries? SDCC 2015 - Tamashii Nations Dragon Ball Z SH Figuarts and FiguartsZERO - The Toyark - News

@Prodigy funny thing is, I don't like gokus god headsculpt and don't like how red his gi is and how the new belt works with the old leg mould, and I like vegeta's metallic hair a LOT for that form as well as his physical retool, so vegeta as he is now is hands down the better of the two for me.

yep. I can't say I've ever wanted metallic hair on any figure in the line, but I also can't say I care enough about the SSGSS forms to have any major preferences for them. I really love how the HG Gashapons look with the translucent plastic, clear blue paint, and pearl white detail...

...I don't think they could do anything similar on Figuarts figures (pretty sure translucent plastic would make head/face swapping very difficult and it may make the head heavy) so metallic paint apps are the next best thing. I love how Vegeta looks right now and wish it wasn't too late for the Goku to be updated. In the end I just hope the two end up with consistent hair. One flat and basic and one metallic...I can't stand the thought of it.

liking the Premium Color figures a bit more after the SDCC pics, especially Vegeta (the outfit doesn't look as de-saturated as it did in the first few pics). again, the glossy hair is driving me nuts, but what can you do. loving the updated skin. No more heavy pink shading...so great.

Here's an expert from an Interview of bluefin from Toyark.. read the last part of the recolors. Very intresting...

"Tamashii Nations USA is taking a break from anything Power Rangers related for SDCC, in fact, while MMPR related product sold very well (Figuarts White Ranger was their best ever), Figuarts that aren't MMPR didn't do so well. For example, the Figuarts Zero MMPR Red Ranger is being shelved because Tamashii Nations is less than satisfied with how the Figuarts Zero MMPR Green Ranger performed.
The overall state of Figuarts is doing very well however, in fact, the Figuarts market; when it comes to Kamen Rider and Anime properties, are growing so fast that Tamashii Nations had to restrategize so they can keep up with the demands. Kamen Rider is doing so well that any past or new Kamen Rider characters has a chance to be made. As for Sentai, if Ninninger can gain enough popularity, it's entirely possible for Tamashii Nations to consider making the Figuarts as well.
When it comes to Power Ranger news, Tamashii Nations said that repackaging Kyoryuger Figuarts into Dino Charge is entirely possible, something for them to consider. Tamashii also has interests to partner up with Saban Brands and Bandai of America to do something MMPR Movie related, but it would have to depend on how the movie progresses.
Now for a bit of good news: While Kamen Rider Gaim Figuarts aren't currently being displayed at SDCC 2015, it is still being distributed by BlueFin, so look forward to that at your favorite retail outlet. Also a nice tidbit for Dragon Ball fans out there, apparently the new reissue of Dragon Ball Figuarts will come with updated parts, such as hands and possibly faces, be sure to collect them all
Stay tuned as TokuNation brings you more update, pictures, and interviews from SDCC2015"

shame about the PR line, I was really looking forward to seeing some Zeo/Ohranger prototypes at some point. / so hard to read something like that and not let my thoughts run wild. A new face or two for Vegeta would be really great.
