If you are under 18 and are sensitive to swear/curse words, please do not open the spoiler below. Just wanted to release a bit of anger after an Ebay SDCC 2015 Goku deal somehow didn't work out (unbelievable coincidences, yeah right). Lesson of the Day: Do not use Ebay coupons to purchase important things that might be cancelled by the seller. You will not get your Ebay coupon refunded.

What was the sellers name. I recently purchased one too but the seller keeps posting the same pic and raises the price every time he posts a new listing.

Last year I believe Bluefin put their stuff up about 3 weeks after the con, maybe a bit earlier

At this point, I'm waiting on Toyz, if they INDEED put it up for $100, then I'll grab it if I can. More than that, and I guess I'm waiting on Bluefin, which I would rather just have this done. :(

If I miss Toyz or they put it up for even more I'll likely just wait out Bluefin and try and grab 2 from them pending the price is right. Maybe try and get a scouter from Saiyan Vegeta and mod him for a Ginyu Goku.

If Toyz really does put theirs up for $100, then I'd go for it just to secure one. That's not too bad a markup. I paid $90 for mine and I think that's a fair price. Bluefin will most likely be $65 like last year. They don't price based in aftermarket since they are the owners of the product and it would destroy their reputation. They only charge a small markup which is perfectly acceptable.

Yeah, for $100 I'm down, for $120+ I'm frustrated and LIKELY down for it... beyond that, I'll just take the loss and wait. I really want to get 2 just for the Ginyu Goku though :( My wife will likely want to kill me, but it'll pass.

Yeah I agree I hop its 100 on toyz that's not too bad . Post the link guys as soon as it's up .

Just checked toyz, no Goku yet but I noticed Broly is up to $115. I bought him from toyz at the beginning of the year for $85. It took Broly a few months to get up there but the climb is steady now.

My girl accepts that I spend what I spend on my figures yet isn't too happy about it. She doesn't mind the Sailor Moon figures at all though [emoji1]

Watch as SDCC Frieza Saga Goku outranks SDCC Super Saiyan Goku within a year

Yeah, she at least enjoys Dragon Ball, but just not to the extent I do. She spends money on stuff that I have 0 interest in, so it goes both ways.

I joked about buying the $18,000 life size hulk buster on Bluefin, and she said just do it if I really wanted it. She told me that she would be sad that I did, but would not be angry. "It's our money' was the philosophy. While I don't TOTALLY believe that, not only is it an obscene amount of money for a statue of a character from a movie I haven't even seen yet, we also do not have anywhere to put it!

It just might since he's more accurate than him. Not saying SSJ Goku isn't accurate but Frieza Saga Goku is absolutely spot on.

I meant in terms of price, but it is spot on, totally.

Does Toyzinthebox really charge $60 for international orders between $41.00-$150.00 USD? That would be incredibly expensive.

All this nonsense is why I got out of figuarts to be honest. I thought that if I caught up to the current releases by buying a few figures at scalper prices it would be smooth sailing and reasonable prices going forward but when all the desirable figures are exclusives or production runs that vanish in weeks....it just didn't do it for me. These are toys/figures...not the stock market. Unloaded my SS Vegeta and Trunks, SDCC Piccolo and (unfortunately) my androids, which turned out to be a huge mistake as I want 17 and 18 now as keepers but I sold low and now i'd have to buy high.

I'll be buying the Da Tong 2.0 SS Vegeta for under $25 USD shipped and that'll be it for me I think. Maybe i'll wait for some android reissues or bootlegs.

Yeah man.. you can always restock your display with the Datong bootlegs that are a decent (and mad cheap) substitute. Scouter Vegeta, Normal Goku, SS Goku, Frieza (to be determined), and I'm sure there'll be more. You can even purchase the Trunks & Vegeta reissues when they drop for close-to-retail. I mean, it isn't the ideal situation to have a display consisting of nothing but bootlegs, but they're not bad, in fact I've seen A LOT worse & everyone here knows how bad DBZ bootlegs can be. It takes a trained eye to point out the differences between a Datong bootleg & an original, after all.
