it feels like they may push the Buu Saga to the side in favor of DBSuper instead

I don't ****ing say dare **** about what theyll do anymore. We could say oh theyll ride the dbsuper train and then get a dabura next year, I'm like whatever.

If I HAVE to guess I think we'll see the two variant Buus, Beerus, gssj Vegeta and maybe Jaco next year. Those protos look too good to me to not be released. Not a case like nappa or shenron, who in the former case needs remoulding and in the latter's case is something they just don't seem to dare go there yet.

POSSIBLY they're gonna go back to more buu releases when the DBZKai buu DUB hits the US, and they're on DBSuper in the mean time. I don't know.

There's sort of a fair chance for fat Buu I'd think actually. In fact, fat buu and a premium color goku would tie in to both DBZ buu era AND DBS/BoG... Those two are both well displayable with Beerus.

I wonder how they're gonna deal with Fat Buu's head articulation. He's practically a meatbun-head on a morbidly obese body, there's no neck :O

Hmm but then again, a similar neckless character named Doraemon has a design that allows him to at least move the head a bit more than what Mario could do.

I guess that's one of the reasons why we still haven't seen a Fat Buu, they still have no idea how to make it look good while being functional for Fat Buu's body type. Oh well, he's one of my favorites :)

They're most definitely focusing on the movies/DBS right now. The safest bets are that we'll see just BoG/RoF/DBS and Buu Saga stuff for most of next year. Probably near the end of 2016 is when we'll see some other saga stuff. It's smart that they're capitalizing on the DBS and movie hype although I'm not exactly thrilled. There's a SLIGHT possibility that there may be some Namek stuff sprinkled into next year. Only saying that because of Awakened Goku and Namek Goku.

honestly Fat Buu would probably have ***** articulation. it can functionally be accomplished, but i just see them taking the lazy route & not putting in that much effort like they would with more popular characters (which it shouldnt be, because he has a vastly different body type than everyone else thus requires even more attention). they might underscale him to keep costs down, too. And we're ALL extremely picky when it comes to the scale of these guys, so just imagine how Fat Buu would look. theoretically it would still be a good figure don't get me wrong, but i gotta feeling it would still leave much to be desired. kinda like the feeling I had when Figuarts Mario was released. I know we've all felt that way at some point over a figure.

Honestly, he doesn't even need have that much articulation. He can be as simple as this figure is. Just searched fat figures and this came up :lol I'm sure Figuarts designers can come up with something better but I'm not expecting much and I wouldn't really care if he was simple.

Someone made a mock-up digitally of what fat Buus articulation could be a while back, I cant remember who did it unfortunately, but it surprised me and had me convinced.

Wow, if Figuarts made that, he'd come with an extra body with hyper-articulated moobies that can flip flop up and down, sideways as well :D

Actually, I wouldn't mind if I had that Fat Bastard toy in my collection, he'd be fun to use in all sorts of hilarious ways hehehe :)

yeah i remember that too, i actually thought it was you that made that video clip lol. maybe it was SupernaturalAddict or somebody, one of the regulars. but if anyone is curious to see, it's burried somewhere within these 4000+ pages

How do they always get their hands on these figures so early?

Here's a Out of the Box review of Goku Super Saiyan Warrior Awakening from Distribuidora Animéxico

Because they are the main distributor for Mexico. Im willing to bet if Bluefin had a youtube channel they would do the same. Also, from watching it someone NEEDS to tell tamashii that tampagraphing the eyes will only look right if they indent the sockets, some angles of his faces look weird again, just like Vegettos. The eyes need to be embedded into the face a bit.

Also, there we have it folks. Didnt get namek Goku? just paint awakening Gokus angry face with black eyebrows and eyes and you have the same "exclusive" face :lol

I also hope that is an "unshaded" proto, theres a harsh lack of shading on him. He still looks good, but the lack of shading from the display versions is really off putting imo.

Finally you were right Sil, the hips and knee parts move with the joint.
