Rhymestyle is legit. Him and Qaaman Land are my favorite DB Youtubers. They're logical and make sense. Sailor Moon Crystal had the same problem with animation. It's just a bigger deal now cuz it's Dragon Ball. I've accepted that it's not gonna look too pretty from now on, but it's still a bit peevy to see. Now, I just find it funny

Sil I didnt even notice you posted a review lol, guess it was just before the whole seller argument! I will read it more indepth after work but skimming it I agree on a few things

, particularly Piccolo. Sorbet stated the red guy was "stronger than Zarbon and Dodoria" so what? They would have to have been stronger than Frieza on his awakening to be able to beat Piccolo! Makes no sense.

I will also add about Vegeta, who seems to have REGRESSED since BoG. In that he seemed at least Ok with Goku, but in RoF he seems more like before Buu. I didnt like that, seemed to weaken his character development.

I get Toriyama wanted to keep Vegeta a bad*** but he seemed almost as if he would still happily turn evil again in this, especially when he seemed regretful at wanting to fight Frieza instead of joining him for the commander job. Wtf?

Oh, and before I forget, what was up with the nonsense about "earth hell"? Frieza made it seem like he was in hell mde specifically for earth, and the intro looks that way too.

From what we have always seen other world and hell were one plane for ALL beings who died in the universe. I know some of the times we seen hell were filler, but all of those scenes stemmed from when Goku fell off snake way, which is canon, so it makes no sense.

Piccolo being cockblocked by gohan was just dumb as hell. Especially because piccolo since his fusion with kami is STRONGER than a normal ssj. Piccolo should be stronger than gohan at this point if gohan can only go ssj.

I know i got a tiny bit angry tbh at vegeta when he considered frieza but I explained it away that I think vegeta was playing frieza. Makes sense he wants to humiliate him as much as possible so when he said "Did you REALLY think I'd join you after you destroyed my father and plant and race etc.?!" so that made me interpret vegeta as tht he was just toying with frieza acting as if he hadn't changed. Which if true I kinda like actually. If it was real than Im pissed about it.

Earth hell was really weird and actually makes no sense cause th ginyus die on namek and arrive t the same place. I dont know, maybe frieza is mistakinly under that impression. Or T to the oriyama is just ****in whack.

I'd like to get everyone's take on Cooler in general. I love the character and I love his character design in both forms. His 5th form is so beasty looking, he's easily one of the coolest villains. But it's bull ****. The concept of a 5th form is ridiculous. It's very clearly stated that the 4th form of this race is their original and most powerful form and any other forms, like how we first get introduced to Frieza, is a power restricted form. The only reason 5th form is even a thing is because the writers of the Cooler movie thought the 4th form was an "evolved" form and that the brothers had powered up to that particular state of being.

Technically golden frieza is a canon represemtation of the 5th form. I liked Cooler as a character but his story made no sense (like most of the films). Apart from Broly, who is literally just bad*** because he is pinned as this unstoppable legend, Cooler is the only other movie villian I can stand. All the others are straight clones of canon villians.

Point is, all other transformations have huge physical changes. I see this as just the body he was born with achieving its highest physical condition: energy levels, physical durability, strength, etc.

Nothing has ever been said about Freeza's species of origin, it's all pure speculation. We only know what Freeza has said about himself & that's it.

Toriyama himself prolly has no idea where he [and King Kold] came from, or if Kold can even transform at all. They're just monsters from space.

You're right. To a point. Maybe "stated" was the wrong word. Sheesh. But we KNOW that his so called "final form" is his original. We KNOW that any of his previous forms were just used as power caps. He's just shapeshifting to bring his power level down to hide it and not wreck everything if he does any attacking. He does state that his original/final form is his strongest. We can ASSUME by Frieza's rules and the depiction of how his power works, that King Cold his powered down to the referred to "second form". We KNOW that the Cooler movie does it differently, and writes it like they were all born in first form and then UPGRADED to the iconic 4th/final form, they both have, which allows for the further power up to a 5th. Like this is pokemon or something. Lol
So with that mind, what say you?

Yeah, Kold is clearly in his 2nd form by logic. It has the same height, and pointier horns as Friezas 2nd form. People can say otherwise but its correct from a pure logic standpoint.

Saw Resurrection F last night.

The fight scenes were very well done. As others mentioned, they focused on skill over massive ki blasts and rapid fire punches/kicks. Overall, the movie was pretty decent until they let Goku kill Freeza instead of Vegeta. I mean, I knew it was coming but ugh. It seems like Vegeta will never have his day. Also, I'm pretty sure Vegeta was effing with Freeza about joining him, kinda like how he led Nappa on before obliterating him. I haven't been able to find a subbed version anywhere but I'd like to see if there was much of a difference in the original dialogue.

there's nothing more that needs to be said really. freezer & Cooler are shapeshifters & Kold/Chilled prolly are, too. We also come up with better theories/explanations than Toriyama ever has

Also, someone can ask Toriyama "Can King Kold change like his son?" and his response could be something like "I've just never drew any other forms for him." Therefore, that can technically mean he doesn't have any other transformations. Or it could just mean he didn't draw his alternate forms cuz he was lazy. That 1 response can be interpreted in different ways. But that's arguing semantics which can get very tricky.
