I tried to get all the DBZ related information from the thread and came up with this...

Q: Why all the Gokus?
A: Because Goku figures sell well

Q: Gotenks when?
A: Gotenks will come but don’t expect something as good as the new tooling Trunks or Super Awakening Goku, it has been made a while ago so it may looks a little outdated to you when compared to them, same about Pure Buu

Q: Are there any plans for more Dragonball figures beyond Kid Goku?
A: A Kuririn retool of Kid Goku will be made if the adult Kuiririn premium repaint sells well

Q: Just Kuririn? No Bulma?
A: Nothing right now. Maybe if both Goku and Kuririn sell well I guess. Hoping for best Bulma.

Q: Is the gotenks ssj1 or ssj3?
A: Black/purple, ssj and ssj3. Ssj2 seems to be completely forgotten for some reason

Q: These guys ever coming? (photo of Tien and Yamcha)
A: There’s a prototype for Yamcha, it’s heavily reusing the old Goku body. It’s the short hair version though. There was some talk about making Tenshinhan too (heard nothing about Chaoz) but I only heard about it once and never saw anything

Q: How long until we see the Cell and SS3 Goku Repaints? Will Goku be his SDCC orange?
A: I don’t know when they’re planning to show them/open preorders for them but they’re supposed to
be released around May-June. They’ll be P-bandai exclusives for a change. Goku won’t be as red as the SDCC version but more like the non Ssj Goku release

Q: Any word on other Advanced Colors?
A: Kururin is the only one I’m aware of ??? It means they have PCE Krillin? -.- why? The Krillin we have is ok! -.- Must i sell my Krillin?

A: Buu Saga Vegeta – I don’t know if it’s a whole figure using the same mold as the Ssj3 one or additional heads for the same figure but I did saw it with Ssj hair and yes, Majin symbol. but when for release? will be insta buy! Talking about ssj3 vegeta? he will get it now he train with Wish? if yes or if he get it mroe later wil be also insta buy!

Freezer Saga Vegeta – Basically Premium Vegeta with black hair. I think the faces were from the Saiyajin Saga Vegeta but I’m not quite sure.

Yamcha – Based on Goku’s body, short teen Gohan-like hair what? it means Yamcha saga Saiyan right? like goahn´s style? so i understand yamcha´s saga saiyan. instabuy too!

Gotenks – Black/purple, Ssj and Ssj3 hair/heads.

Gogeta – Ssj only. Super instabuy

Kuririn Premium – Haven’t seen it but I guess it’s a lighter orange
Why? <( i not understand! must i sell my krillin? <( will be krillin from saga Cell? just can if say PCE <( SH37! <(

Pure Buu mmmmm i don´t know i like it more Super Buu! <( majin Buu is fat i not want it! so MAYBE i will get Kid Buu

Nappa – Not the topless one you saw three years agi, it’s a retool, fully armored

Ssj teen Gohan – With the purple Piccolo cloth like his appearance in the later DBZ OP or second Broly movie.

With the exception of BS Vegeta (obviously using the new “advance” tooling), all of these were made a while ago and reuse a lot of parts from other figures (which is pretty much why they have so many things “ready”) so you must accept that they’ll have the same issues as the early figures like ugly knees, Goku-like shoulders and such.

Thing I know have been discussed:
Kid Trunks
Kid Goten
Kid Kuririn – Basically a new head for kid Goku
Great Saiyaman

Burdock - This one... well must think but for now not (just for now) but i not think really get it. Too much figures and alot £ i need!

Tenshinhan which saga? i wait Buu Saga *_* or Cell Saga! *_*

Q: Is there any sort of time frame on when we can expect Super Buu to finally go up for preorder? You also mentioned a Pure Buu. Is that the only other Buu they’ve got in the works? And I think everyone is already assuming it’s going to happen, but any info on a Frieza advanced color or renewal release?
A: I didn’t hear or saw anything more about Buus but the most important Buu Saga stuff is supposed to hit the stores when the saga will be airing in the US in the Kai format so maybe they’ll have a Super Buu announced by then. Heard nothing about a new or premium Frieza.

Well now i can really dream with some figures! ^^

Someone can tell that guy to ask for Trunks from first movie Broly? *_*

Oh of course theyre waiting for dbz kai buu era to hit in the states... That does definitely make sense. Especially because they can now be on point with the dbs hype in japan.

I think the only reason we got vegito and u gohan is becaause theyre such easy retools. In the case of majin vegeta I guess they felt it was vegeta overload getting pc vegeta and god vegeta too.

But Goku overload isn't a problem lol

Very well explained! Thank you Bardoon. I know the Japanese market prefer statue figure over articulate figure because they want "perfection." After reading your comments, I feel like I can finally see the light through the dark tunnel haha.

Was there a display in-between this one and the last one or is this the 2nd display?

Well technically this will be the 3rd time I switched up my display, but I'm going to count it as display ver. 2.5; update 3.0 won't be ready for quite some time, perhaps another year. What I have planned is going to be expensive and requires a lot of real estate on the shelves lol

Somewhere in Tamashii a person who makes decisions is like

He's got an evil plan of Nappa-ing his display. Everyone gets a Nappa head and face, the walls are Nappa, the shelves are Nappa.

Or....maybe that's just blood in his insane asylum

Pretty much

This could also be said for everyone who sold off the original SSJ Vegeta before his scalper prices :lol

I don't find it odd considering that it took Bluefin and their positive feedback to convince Bandai of Japan to continue the line. I believe the sales in the Western market along with the feedback from Bluefin, from conventions such as SDCC and NYCC, remain the strongest connection at this point. Also, did you notice that somebody brought up how there seemed to be some sort of tension between Bandai of America and Bluefin?

Q: So is all the bluefin getting rimmed by BOA true or is BF doing a great job of ruining their business themselves?

A: I have no information about the BOA/BF deal, I never had any contact with BF. I think one of my coworker had some but I'm pretty sure it was only a matter of arranging shipping of prototypes we had to "share" for conventions.

I wonder what the tension is...Bandai America focuses mostly on Bandai's "kid" toys within the United States. And if I pass on what I've read properly, Bandai America is a subsidiary of (big) Bandai in Japan and has its own company President, organization and structure. It might not even be "fully" owned by Bandai Japan which effectively makes it like its "own" company. I used to work for an independent subsidiary to a larger company and we operated both in collaboration and even separately from the bigger company. Because the subsidiary is subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are headquartered, it's likely they run into conflicts with licenses that Bluefin doesn't because they are just distributing items that originate from Bandai Japan and are subject to the regulations, laws, and licenses of THAT country. Bandai America is essentially and "almost" a completely separate company than Bandai Japan...hence why there might be some of that "tension".

Anyone know where I can get some act 4 stands that aren't $30 a piece? Need some more should of bought more than 3 when Toyz in the Box had em.

Using an Alucard gif was awesome, blood.

Another year? :( Do you have any design photos or is it all in your head?

I've been thinking of getting a few detolf shelves for most of my collection. I have four long book shelves saved for four specific displays but I would like to put all of the other figures in a display on detolf shelves.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I was surprised to read that there was some sort of tension between Bandai America and Bluefin. Maybe Banda America wants a cut on the imports? I don't know. I don't think it would have anything to do with the Saban brand, would it? I know the MMPR line got cancelled.

Tamashii should be reissuing them at some point where you can get them for $15 - 17.

I just bought some bootleg stages off ebay, act 4 type for roughly $2 each. No idea if its available in the USA to buy but im happy with them, they are decent quality and quite tight. If you type in "display stand 1/144" you should see them come up.

Can you link them to me?

I don't know if he's talking about these, but they're almost the same thing.

Action Base Suitable Display Stand for 1/144 HG/RG Gundam/Figure+Hook Blue New-in Display Racks from Industry & Business on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

The difference it's aliexpress instead of ebay, and a little bit more expensive.

I don't know if there is a huge difference between the quality, never bought these (but used the website and it works, it's just a long waiting period till the item reach your house).

Hope it help you!
