Next episode of Super :horror

looks like Ginyu will finally have his revenge!!

Same here, I love the new direction Super suddenly took. I don't know if the subtitled version's out yet, but from my interpretation of last night's episode, Krillin had a bout of cowardice but Master Roshi said something about him having gone through tougher situations. At first I hated that Krillin was being shown as a wuss, but the way Krillin redeemed himself was awesome especially since his old signature move was used again. The twist at the end was also very interesting and unexpected. The surprise blast from behind came earlier than expected and maybe it won't be used again later.

I have a feeling that Super will somehow make certain characters badass again, the god form truly something that cannot be toyed with, and maybe the ending to this story arc would be something that a lot of Vegeta fans have always wanted to see. I really hope that change happens because I think Vegeta deserves the spotlight in this arc.

For me, this is one of the best Super episodes so far.

I could see where the writers were going though, I mean wouldnt you freeze up when faced with someone who had literally killed you before? (I know its impossible IRL but imagine it for a second if it was possible).

I also like that Goten and Trunks are on the way after they felt Tagomas ki (meaning he is very strong), and yes, they are still drawn the same as they were, but in Super its only been a few months since BoG happened. Cant wait to see Friezas look of confusion seeing a child version of the teen that killed him before xD

Also, I apologize to anyone not watching it because its not in English but lets be honest, you wont see Super in English for a year or two at the least, so im not willing to avoid spoilers for that long, sorry folks.

I wonder where Goku & Vegeta were teleported to? Wherever it is, that's gotta be the place where they attain the new God form

also,
the film gives the impression that Goku & Vegeta acquired the God forms for quite some time before Freeza is revived. however in the show, it's looking like they're gonna reach God status, then immediately go back to Earth to fight Freeza. In contrast, in the movie, Goku explains to Freeza why his ki is rapidly depleting because as soon as Freeza achieved his new Golden form, he didn't allow time for his body to get used to it. In the show, it's looking like the opposite will occur (Freeza having already gained & gotten used to his Gold form, whereas by the time he arrives on Earth, Goku/Vegeta still haven't even finished their own training yet

Just wanted to chime in and say that you are very wrong on this part. You seem to be forgetting that Pan has been born. It was even stated in the show itself that Vegeta was gone for about a year before Goku joined in on the training with Whis, and he didn't find out about Vegeta until after Pan was born. So it is just like the movie, it's been a year and four months since BoG.

With that in mind, I can be a little forgiving with the fact that they still look exactly the same (also the fact that Super starts only several months after Kid Buu's defeat), but if the show timejumps 2,3, perhaps 4 years ahead & they're STILL appearing as small children, then that's just 1 big WTF like come on already. They aged Gohan up accordingly throughout Z, as they should with Trunks/Goten. Just imagine how silly it would've been if he was still this same size during the Cell Saga

In fact, now that I think about it.. DBSuper should be focused ON Trunks & Goten as the new protagonists, just like how they set up Gohan to be the main hero of Z (although we all know how that eventually went). The next generation of Z Warriors taking on the new threats to earth, with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, etc. participating here n there, but not the primary focus. They had their time to shine. Goku clearly wanted them to be the new protectors of earth during the Buu Saga, so why not run with that? His mentality was clearly "I'm not always going to be around to save the day, so you guys can't always depend on me" which was a GREAT premise to go with. Why does everything always have to fall on Goku & Vegeta's (but eventually always Goku's) shoulders?

Tagoma being alive AND strong is awesome since personally I always thought he looked more menacing than the midget Sorbet. We ended up actually seeing a glimpse of Frieza's training and while it was literally just a glimpse, it's better than nothing.

It's nice to see that Gotenks is making a return. I have no doubt that if Gohan doesn't end up going god, at the very least Gotenks will. It still bothers me that they still look like children but I'm sure we'll get some small time skip that'll correct that. I know Toriyama isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but I don't think he'll keep them kids indefinitely.

I think there's hope for a better ending to this arc instead of the crap we were fed in the movie seeing as how it seems to be going in quite a different direction. Didn't expect to see Ginyu return (even if it is in Tagoma's body). Gotta say, I'm pretty excited for the next episode.

Having read the symopsis of manga chapter 6, which is way ahead of the show, I think, if thats all happening in the anime, some here will be surprised which chars get a renewed focus, it seemed like. What's coming after rof seems kindof fun. Anyone can look it up if they want details. It also comtains why the series is called the way it is. Which I also kinda liked. We'll see. It's weird that the mnga is head if it's based on the anim this time.

Has anyone gotten any emails sent about anime island shipping their Figuarts SSG Goku and Frieza? Usually companies get them in before their dates, but this is the first that's right on the estimation date.. might just stick with toyzinthebox from now on.

I picked up 2x ssgss goku for 39.99 free shipping and 1 golden frieza for 39.99 free shipping and they were in hand so ill get them in a few days.
