This will be the 1st figuarts I add to my dbz collection since I sold my small collection of 4 over a year ago. I love the paint job on this figure it's so vibrant the hair looks awesome.

Kinda wish it's more of a platinum blonde like in your avatar instead of yellow with some orange tint.

Platinum blond would've been a great idea for the PC figures. They could've gone back and made all the current SSJ's in that color and released them as PC and then it would truly be a premium coloring.

We do know the original ssj Goku is essentially platinum blond and it comes across bland and horrible, right?

I like the "powered down" look too but it just doesnt work in figure form imo.

The hair color isn't the worst part of that Goku. It's the face. Now if they made the hair look like the promo pics, it would've looked spectacular. With the quality improvements we're seeing now, they could definitely make it work. I would personally only wanna see platinum if they redid all the SSJ's that way for consistency sake.

Oh, no, I meant on that figure specifically, I said in that comment I really like the power down look, which to me is the blond colour, but it doesnt look good in figure form!

Sorry Blogness, but that just doesnt look right to me either. If they did the platinum it would have be the shiney finish the current PC figures have, the matt just doesnt work without shading imo, which is possibly why they started with the orange shading tbh. I mean look at how bland vegetto looks and thats due to a lack of paint apps and shading.

Platinum could work if it was like the SSJ Goku prototype, shading really does make a difference. And yeah, that's what I dislike about Vegetto too, his hair kinda seems strange when you mention it...

I do, too! It's a great Battle of Gods/Dragon Ball Super Super Saiyan Vegeta figure. (Not sure why they didn't make him the first official Battle of Gods/Dragon Ball Super release.) I'm hoping to see the same paint application done to the rumored Premium Color Super Saiyan 3 Goku's hair mold.

I would actually like to see Tamashii repaint the SSGSS Goku hair mold with the same paint color and we'll also get a great Battle of Gods/Dragon Ball Super Super Saiyan Goku. Maybe tweak a few of the hair locks but overall it has a very similar flow to it.

Edited: I still don't know why Tamashii didn't add the detail into SSGSS Vegeta's hair sculpt. It would have looked so beautiful!
