They tweet on weibo in Chinese. I tend to translate it here when they got something new.

Thanks for posting the picture, Orbital. This convinced me to purchase one from overseas on eBay.

The hair color and SS faces look so much more better. They pop more and don't look flat.

I agree. I'm thinking the paint application/coloring to the hair on the Premium Color Future Trunks is going to match up well with the Super Saiyan Trunks release in May. The Super Saiyan faces really do pop out more. The yellow and green are easily distinguishable.

It could be the lighting in this photo but it shows an example of the flatness to the original Super Saiyan faces...

That's what really bugged me with the old releases, how flat the faces looked... and it didn't help they didn't line the eyeballs in black. That makes all the difference. The SWA Goku's eyes are a work of art.

They're definitly nailing the likeness to the anime/manga with the new faces and SWA is a shining example of it and Trunks will be just as good if not better.

The thing with the PC's that ruins the faces imo are the lines. Trunks doesn't look as noticable as Vegeta's but I wish they would've done it a little better. I can see why they put the lines but the execution leaves a lot to be desired for. Still, the lines and likeness do look MUCH better compared to the Manga Goku and Gohan releases which were imo the worst figures in the line overall.

Nice going Bane! Color saturation is like sugar, the more thats in it, the more it makes everything else taste duller.XD Do you wanna keep it spread out like that or do you plan on adding much?

That's a sweet analogy! :lol

I'm buying all Gokus and Vegetas, so it will fill up quick. With Kid Goku, and my various Goku/Vegeta displays it should fill up quick. There's still SSGSS Vegeta to come out, and then I'm hoping for SSJ2 Goku vs Majin Vegeta, , Regular Boo arc Goku and Goku together to put under Vegetto for Potara display, and PCE SSJ3 Goku and SSJ2 Vegeta vs Kid Boo display. Future Cell Games Trunks will go with my Goku and Vegeta family and friends display.

I want a Goku/Vegeta display for each arc. Broly is filling in for Cell since that figure is way too short, skinny, and bug eyed to me.

I think this Trunks looks so much better than the original because of the color saturation. I thought the original looked dull, and he looked too stout, but the new PCE black and gray coloring on the shirt and pants creates the illusion of better proportions to me.

On the note of coloring, I gotta say though, when you compare the manga coloring (especially to the SDCC counterparts) to some of the more recent, anime-ish releases, it literally falls apart. From the hair (Vegetto is a strange example recently) to the faces...it's weird. I feel like it got somewhat better as time went on as I can compare Manga Gohan to SDCC Gohan and still say "This looks ok, the difference is notable though".

I wonder if this'll be the case for the rest of the PC releases.

Imo the manga releases are terrible comparing to either the PC's or the anime versions. Piccolo is the only good one (I just personally hate his manga coloring though). With freckles, baggy eyes, and subpar likeness to the character, and vampiric paleness (Gohan in particular), every release after the OG three have been leaps and bounds above. The PC's have their pros and cons like the SDCC's and OG's too. Overall though, the line has improved vastly and will continue to do so.

I only get the manga releases for their alternate displays. Piccolo for his cape and turban, Gohan for his SSJ1 hair and cape. Goku...well I can pose him doing the instant transmission I guess :lol

At least the coloring is good now but I feel it can be inconsistent since most of us have pointed out that they still seem to be sticking toward a manga coloring at times on what should be an anime release.

Even though I'd much prefer the saturated colors, I think the Manga Vegetto looks awesome, but the yellow hair looks super cheap. I'm never going to display it.

I didn't even notice the lines on the PCE Vegeta, but I do on the Manga Goku—and a lot of his face is covered by hair! I don't have Gohan but he looks worse. Of course, I'm a guy that buys duplicate Gokus and Vegetas instead of buying new characters. I'm planning on getting second SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta for the non-super Saiyan modes, but skipping Beerus and Whis even though they look great, so it's to each his/her own!

I really don't mind the manga version of Gohan despite the pale skin tone. The anime version, while perhaps the better look of the two, has the opposite issue of being a little too rich in color. Though I hear the anime version has the same problem with the lose torso and left arm?

Gohan could get the same treatment as SWA Goku with ripped clothes that expose his new knee joints. Maybe even Vegeta from the Saiyan saga as well. Instant buy.

I don't think SDCC Gohan is 'too rich', I think he's fine, but Manga Gohan is way too pale.

With Vegetto, he looks great. But the SSJ hair just has bizarre paint apps, which while ok, is still just...why? The normal hair is great though.

The saturated colors on the PC's actually look pretty nice and gives me an excuse to buy them to display powered up and powered down versions. The only thing I don't like about them is the paleness (which isn't too bad as I'm hearing), the lines, and the glossy hair which makes the line even more inconsistent. Aside from that, they turned out pretty good overall. I really wanna be able to make a full assessment once I get them, if Anime Island ever ships :monkey4

Vegito is an anomoly. He is clearly manga colored but his hair is attrocious. It's like it's unfinished with the straight yellow paint with seemingly no finish and no shading at all. Like they just stopped the presses at the factory when it came time to finish it. He stands out A LOT amongst every other SSJ. I wouldn't mind if they PC him if only to get some nicer hair since apart from that issue, he's a pretty decent figure.

Yeah, enough with the repaints. I hope they can release new figure and variations this year.

YES! That and releasing the prototypes from the past with the updated joint systems (Nappa, Buu's, SSJ4, etc.). Luckily it looks like SSJ4 is practically ready to go and the Buu's are likely undergoing the same change he got.

They're going to be double dipping them to the end of time. They're going to do this with SSGSS Goku, I know it. Since they didn't color him right the first time. I swear they did this on purpose just to do a PCE.

Wait, you don't have it yet? It looks so much better to me, man. PCE Vegeta is the first figure that I ever had in my life that the figure actually looks better than the pictures. He looked like a bootleg in the pics. The PCE coloring is like the difference between the anime figures and the manga figures. The PCE Vegeta looks like it came out of a cartoon while the rest of them look like plastic toys. Goku is my favorite fictional character and Vegeta isn't even in my top 10, so I'm not biased in saying this: I think it's the best looking figure in the line because of the paint application. Of course, if the SWA Goku had a PCE version it would blow it away, but that's how I feel with it right now. I don't care if it doesn't match up. I'd rather have this PCE coloring for them all even if it costs extra.
