They're going to be double dipping them to the end of time. They're going to do this with SSGSS Goku, I know it. Since they didn't color him right the first time. I swear they did this on purpose just to do a PCE.

I absolutely love the new design, so the figure is disheartening. The lack of shading on the body, the inaccurate hair color, the spaced out eyes, the inaccurate hair shape (looks more like Vegeta hair outside the bangs), the lack of paint for the smiling face,the inaccurate gi color, etc. It was super lazy. It's like they don't have to care since it's Goku, so he'll sell anyway. And dang it, they're right!

I like SSGSS a lot as well, but the figure is a complete fail. At least SSGSS Vegeta looks pretty slick and hasn't changed from the initial photos much at all.

I still don't get why SSGSS Vegeta doesn't have a normal head....and is more expensive than Goku. But I do like the SSGSS Vegeta Figuarts look more than the Figuarts SSGSS Goku look, I don't think it translated that well. Otherwise in artwork, both looks are still a great update to me.

Every SS figure, without question, needs a normal head. This is day one **** that shouldn't have to be told to a company, especially one that's been doing this line for years now.

I don't care if they did a Veku (I know he never went SS) it would still need a normal Veku head.

They'd actually sell more if they did this since people like me buy two at a time.

I completely agree! Heck, if they do a lousy job with SSJ Gogeta's hair like SSJ Vegetto, I will be displaying him as "Veku"!

I would have pre-ordered 2 SSGSS Vegeta's right away if it came with two heads. They're loosing sales.

Also it has the reddest gi out of all the Goku's which begs the question why? They could've used the same color they used for Base Goku and Ultimate Gohan and it would've been accurate. For the hair, I wish they would've gone with the glossy like they did on Vegeta in the first place. Now, if only for consistency, I want Vegeta to match Goku's hair even if the gloss suits it better. The body sculpt of SSGSS Vegeta is phenomenal though, albeit not having crossed arms and the normal head.

It's just cruel to do this to buyers that's invested the better half of what... half a decade into the line already? They've got to have more self awareness than this. PCE Vegeta should of come with a PCE Scounter Vegeta head repaint. There's no excuse for this.

Yeah, it's like a hot red color... for no apparent reason. it's not even remotely close.

It's supposed to be the same orange pretty much that he's worn for 30 years...

The new GI should be a lighter shade, it's weird.

And the weird thing on normal heads is lack of consistency. Trunks and Vegetto have it, SSGSS Goku too. Gohan had an SSJ and SSJ2 head, a normal would have been great but he didn't have it until after the battle and even then, it was not in his undamaged gi.

I don't know, man. I actually think the SSGSS Vegeta should look much better as a figure because it's so much more detailed. They could do some really neat stuff with the shading and sculpt work. Look at their Figuart Zero figures! Little scale issues like Vegeta and Gohan being too tall aren't a problem, but I think these are important issues (in the context of Dragon Ball figuart collecting of course).

You're absolutely right. It's very ironic that they'd do this, but not re-release figures out of reasons of "respect for the collector."

Then again look at Dragon Ball Super. Even Toriyama is upset, and he's the most laid back creator that I've ever seen. In the recent massive 30th Anniversary Book, he wrote that he was upset about the series. Not even an American author would be willing to speak out like this. Maybe on twitter.

Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone.

From what I read, Toriyama is barely involved with Super. He's just pitching ideas.

I'm not watching it either, but I read the summaries online. If I knew nothing about DB Super, and someone told me that it's about Goku and Vegeta becoming gods and fighting in an epic tournament in another dimension, and Gohan asks Piccolo to train him so he can protect the Earth—it would sound pretty fun. But that's why "the book is always better"! If the reception is good, I'll buy the manga because the artist, Toyotarō, seems good from what I've seen on google images. I bought the GT DVDs and tried multiple times to get through it because I like Goku and Vegeta so much, but unfortunately, I couldn't do it. Hopefully, this isn't the case with the rest of Super. I have seen Ressurection F, and I while I thought the writing was pretty lousy, there are some fun moments that made it worth the rent.

I showed a friend of mine who likes Dragon Ball but isn't collecting this line the new PCE Vegeta next to the OG Vegeta. Without saying anything to him and I know he does not have much knowledge about the figures, he said PCE looks "fake" haha.

Do toyzinthebox follow the first come first serve on preorders? I preordered pce vegeta in December and didn't make an account with them just until recently so the only thing I have with them is the reciept number (I had bought android 16 with pce vegeta but already recieved him about 3 weeks ago), I already messaged toyz but they gave me the same response as someone previously said that they recieved their first batch and will recieve their second batch mid February so that wasn't really helpful on giving me an update on pce vegeta

Well if you didn't already know, there's supposed to be this short fat little fighter with powerful nipples or something. It's like a creepy doujinshi that is sorta based around DBZ.
