Most likely the future SSJ PC's will have the same type of hair and that's gonna be quite a downer since personally I think the matte finish with the white shading looks best. If they redo all the SSJ's with the same style I wouldn't mind though since at least we'd be getting some consistency.

Yeah it does. The vest pops a bit more too. But I still prefer the original's hair color. I think Pliss is right, the PC looks more like its powered up.

I wouldn't mind at all if they gave us a PC of Manga Goku which would obviously have an updated face like Awakening Goku and a similar color scheme to SDCC but "different" in some way.

I meant the Manga Kai version, or whatever the newer version was called. It just needs a repaint.

Snake, there is very little difference between the manga Goku releases, though the plastic used is SLIGHTLY darker yellow and shinier, but the sculpt is no different man (I have both the og and reissue).

Goku just needs a new sculpt entirely, or at the very least needs a ssj3 mold variant for the improved shoulders etc.

His face looks better than the SDCC I'm saying... the lines around the eyes look much better on the 2nd release. SDCC Goku's face is hideously orange.

The manga version looks better? Not in a million years! The SDCC is waaaay better looking and looks like the anime. The orange could be toned down but accuracy wise, the SDCC wins hands down. Personally I think Manga Goku had the worst face in the entire line. If you meant the SWA Goku face then yeah, it's currently the best SSJ Goku face we've got.

A 2.0 would be perfect and is desperately needed. If they wanted to cheap out on the 2.0, they could simply use the same knees like SSJ4 Goku, reuse the SSJ3 Goku torso and give it a red orange paint job like Namek Goku and purple wristbands/sash. Really though, they should do a completely new lower body and perhaps even torso including an ab crunch. Something like SWA's articulation but fully clothed would be sick.

No need, here we go:

From left to right; original, reissue (number two), sdcc, awakening.

The likeness is best on awakening, but sdcc is a close second. The other two have barely any difference, maybe the eyes are slightly larger on the reissue but it just doesnt look like Goku.

I put up my V1 Vegeta on my shelf last night next to the PCEs. I wouldn't say the PCE is a complete improvement, but the blue is much nicer, plus the colored toes.

Kinda weird, but I still kinda prefer the face on the V1. I can't put my finger on why exactly. Maybe I need to use the normal face for PCE for a better comparison.

I enjoyed both figures but found a generalized error in SS Vegeta, these areas were very badly painted, as if they had used a defective or deformed mask to paint it:

That is acceptable in a bad bootleg but not in a collectible figure produced by Bandai.

Awakening Goku has the best face. SDCC is way too orange, while the manga (both) isn't that bad with its skin tone. but the eyes and mouth are best on SDCC. Both hair paint apps have their cons, but I kind of prefer the manga at times since the paleness works for powered down. I still see the likeness in Manga and SDCC. I do see a big difference between the manga's scream face and SDCC's scream face though.

Re-issue manga does look a bit noticeably better than the first release manga, but barely.
