I enjoyed both figures but found a generalized error in SS Vegeta, these areas were very badly painted, as if they had used a defective or deformed mask to paint it:

That is acceptable in a bad bootleg but not in a collectible figure produced by Bandai.

The hair looks like the orange tin foil stuff on the side of the moon lander.

I think I got the same upper glove issues too, Orbital.

No need, here we go:

From left to right; original, reissue (number two), sdcc, awakening.

The likeness is best on awakening, but sdcc is a close second. The other two have barely any difference, maybe the eyes are slightly larger on the reissue but it just doesnt look like Goku.

I prefer the manga version.

Thanks for the answers.

Originally I thought that that error was only in my figure, but I've seen in greater or lesser extent on each photo or video of the final product.

I even used a magnifying glass in my figure to confirm.

I put up my one original Vegeta on my shelf last night, and took a close look at the PCEs and noticed it. I think it's the only figure of the line that I have that got such a lazy QC issue.

I think the original and SWA faces have more personality to them. Manga Goku looks like he's ready to bust Freeza up.

If Tamashii ever wants to upscale their Cell, I'm game! I love that pic!

Manga definitely has the most ferocity to it. I kinda wish SWA had that expression. It reminds me of this.

The manga's faces feel almost totally different from the SDCC and Awakening's, same with those two as well.

Haven't tried that, but I had issues taking off Awakening Goku's head. I noticed putting the alternate faces was also annoying, compared to Scouter Vegeta

Just an advice: Be very carefull with his neck joint when you swap the heads. The neck joint on AW Goku It`s thinner and fragile than other figuarts, and it could break easily

Yes, also for me is the first time with something like that.

These are images from the reviewers hacchaka & david80740 where the QC issue is present:

In some way the fault is not serious cuz few of us have realized it, but the reality is that something happens this time with their quality controls and I hope that we don't see something like that again.

I agree. That would have been sweet. There's a lot of people down on the platinum blond hair here for figures, but what do you think of these? I think they could use some work (especially Vegeta), but I like it.

The platinum look of the Android/Cell saga was my favorite. Even Namek Goku had it as well.

Mine too. I really wish they'd do SSJ2 Goku and Majin Vegeta in those colors, but I know people want consistency.

We need more SSJ2 in general but it does look great. That platinum hair look should have been done for the PC treatment imo.

The eyebrows still out way too much though
