Hey folks, just put up my review of the horrible ssjblue Goku, and as I feared, its by that goddamn no name company, and well, you can see where im going with this[emoji38]


I would also like to apologize again to Snake, and to anyone I may have annoyed or offended this past couple of weeks. I put an apology in the star wars thread too but since my behavior affects you folks too I should put it in both places. Its no excuse, but work lately has been horrible, and unintentionally I have been taking it out on folks that disagree with me. It is 100% my fault and I hope folk can forgive me, I now see how much of a ****** I have been lately.

Why would you waste money on this piece of crap?

Awesome pictures!

Seeing the collection as a whole has put a lot into perspective for me about the newer articulation. Does anybody else feel that Tamashii purposely attempts to avoid making previous releases "obsolete?" Basically meaning that we won't have a Normal Goku 2.0. It will always have some sort of sculptural difference to stand apart.

Thanks! I've been inspired to re-do my entire display and I've been re-watching the anime and getting inspiration from different scenes and poses. Just to move the figures around in different poses. I'm glad to see other people are posing them off of the anime and posting the pictures. There's not enough pictures in this forum of people's displays or poses.

Yeah, it's not really an issue. The shoulder armor is on ball pegs so they move and can be taken off. Once you take the figure out of the box, you can click it back into place and it'll stay in there nicely.

So I'm kind of thinking of picking up a couple of these figures. I'm hesitant to get into collecting these guys since I've missed out on a lot of the ones I would have liked. Such as the regular Vegeta, Frieza and Regular Goku. I would also love a Piccolo that didn't have the yellow pads, the whole SDCC exclusives seem weird.

Anyway I'm thinking of picking up the SS Goku Awakening Version and the SS Son Gohan. Are these good figures?

@Gus jep, thats a packaging shape error. It happen too most f the time when you put him back in the package, the plastic happens to just push on the pad to make it pop off. Saiyan vegeta had a horrible run with loose joints etc, which is a pain in using the figure, but all of this stuff can just be reattached. If this vegeta had zero qc issues id probably say he was the best overll release to date. Sadly tamashii seems cursed to always have one thing that keeps a release from 10/10 (imo).

Can't speak for anyone else but for me Broly is a 10/10 cuz he's the definitive Broly figure to get, better than ALL other Broly figures. It's not even a debate.

Thats how I feel too, but it wouldnt be the first time Ive been blinded by favoritism, hence why I asked xD
